Headlight out Came in to have my dealer maintained 2004 Ram 2500, driver side headlight replaced at 35K miles. Turned out that the bulb was not the problem. Apparen Came in to have my dealer maintained 2004 Ram 2500, driver side headlight replaced at 35K miles. Turned out that the bulb was not the problem. Apparently, the circuit that controls the head light bulb is routed through and is controlled by the TIPM which controls the electrical operating system for the entire truck. So instead of running the head lights through a simple inexpensive relay, Dodge engineers chose to go through a $$$$ TIPM. I am very happy with the dealer and their employees. It is the Dodge design engineers that I am dis-satisfied with. More
