On Sept 7 2026 I had my truck towed to service because of no power steering, the tow driver drove the truck in to the service bay, when a service driver went to start the vehicle it would not start, unbeliev no power steering, the tow driver drove the truck in to the service bay, when a service driver went to start the vehicle it would not start, unbelievable since 5 minutes before the truck was driven in, I was told that was another issue, the chances of that happening are astronomical, I was told it was a coincidence, not buying it but at the mercy of the service writer what could I do. I got a call the next day September 8 that the truck was ready to be picked up, and was given the dollar amount for the job, which seemed high, however I had not seen my receipt to see what the charges actually were, I was way over charged on labor $450 for a plug in module and another $450 for installing 2 straps for power steering, both were simple bolt on items, two screws on the plug in module took maybe 10 minutes to install and the 2 straps has 2 bolts each, even is both had 2 hour labor it would not be $450 each, the receipt just showed $450 labor for each job with itemized parts which I’m ok with, however the labor should show labor hours for each job, not just add labor $450, plus $117 for shop supplies? Before leaving I noticed the right tire pressure sensor showed a line not a pressure number I went back in Ken went with a tool around the 4 tires but could not get a reading on one tire, he told me to come back the next day which I did Sept 9 at 7:00 am, when they did the original diagnosis it did not show a code for the air sensor only when I started the truck the screen on the dash was set to tire pressure that’s how I noticed no pressure number on the front left tire ,Ken was not in yet so I spoke to another service writer, I told him why I had to come, and he said “it’s a coincidence” How many coincidences are happening in your service department? When Ken came in he said he was given me “a one time customer appreciation” for the sensor, please, and not charge me for the sensor, which it was not needed since he used a differ tool to scan the tires again and he claimed that the tool he used the day before was faulty, so I had to drive to the dealership at 7:00am because of a faulty tool, and stating they were doing me a favor for not charging me. You can’t even make this up, terrible service and got ripped off on top of it.Needless to say I will not use you for service or buying a vehicle and will pass the word around verbally and social media about my experiences More
My tires were rotated without asking which is a nice service to provide. Unfortunately shortly after I left the dealership I had to change my tire. The technician severely over tightened the lug nuts. I service to provide. Unfortunately shortly after I left the dealership I had to change my tire. The technician severely over tightened the lug nuts. I couldn’t get the lug nuts off with the wrench provided by Chevy to change your tires. I then tried a large breaker bar and still couldn’t get them off. I ended up using a 6 foot bar for leverage to loosen the lug nuts. I’m not a small weak person either. The first attempt with the 6 foot bar. It slipped off the breaker bar and I smacked myself in the head.Leaving a large bump. I finally got them off. I think if I wasn’t at my house and I was on the side of the road having to change the tire. I wouldn’t be able to get the tire off. They really shouldn’t over tighten to that extreme. They should follow the torque specs when putting the tires back on. I assume they are using a heavy duty impact gun to get the nuts that tight. More
