Alright, I initially left a glowing review for McGee Dodge when I purchased my vehicle. The following incidents provoked me to change my review and warn all other prospective buyers to steer clear of th Dodge when I purchased my vehicle. The following incidents provoked me to change my review and warn all other prospective buyers to steer clear of this dealership. When my vehicle was purchased, I was not given the title document required to register the vehicle in my home state. FOR REFERENCE, THIS ILLEGAL IN VERMONT. At this point, communication became hard to maintain due to my calls/texts being ignored. Over a week later, the document arrives not filled out. Once again I have to attempt to make contact with McGee Dodge and hope they do not avoid my inquiries. Unsurprisingly, little to no communication is returned. At this point I have my representative reach out to the title clerk, Darleen, and overnight ship the document back to be filled out properly. At this point, now a full calendar month later, all attempts at contact to the dealership have been unsuccessful. Again, my representative will continue to reach out until the problem is resolved. What a disappointing and unprofessional experience this has been. To all potential buyers, be prepared for subpar dealer experience. More
Travis and Josh at Mcgee fought for days to get us into a vehicle, did everything no other dealership would do to find the fit for us. I would definitely recommend mcgee to anyone who is looking for a used c vehicle, did everything no other dealership would do to find the fit for us. Honestly one of the easiest, most painless car buying experiences I have EVER had! I worked with Sylvia and Donna, who were both super nice and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I went here on a Saturday after seeing a Jeep they had online. I worked with Sylvia who reassured me all the Jeep needed was a new windshield which would be replaced the following Monday/Tuesday. I then w online. I worked with Sylvia who reassured me all the Jeep needed was a new windshield which would be replaced the following Monday/Tuesday. I then was told it needed more work than anticipated. Drive shaft, oil pan, pinion seals, wheel bearings, etc. They had the Jeep for 2.5 weeks. I asked to back out after 1 week of it being in the shop only to be told they already registered it and there's nothing they can do. Was told by Donna that Vermont does not have a Lemon Law so I should feel comfortable that they are fixing the issues. The only actual updates I was getting during this 2.5 week period was from my insurance company. Fast forward, the Jeep gets delivered. It then failed Massachusetts inspection (after being reassured it would pass without issue). Less than 1 week later the check engine light came on and it's pouring out oil, with a rusted oil pan. Obviously not having been replaced like I was told. I've contacted the dealership and got "that sucks" in return. I've asked for a copy of the work that was done 3 times now and still haven't received. I've started the process of legal action and received a text from Donna of "what can I do to make this right" after being shut down about failed inspections and other issues. I don't recommend going here to my worst enemy. They take advantage of you and lie about everything to make a sale. More
Negotiated a set of 4 tires as part of the deal. They insisted on putting them on only to call about 1/2 hour later and say that the vehicle (just purchased!) needed ball joints before the tires cou They insisted on putting them on only to call about 1/2 hour later and say that the vehicle (just purchased!) needed ball joints before the tires could go on. We said we would pick up the car and tires - they said it was dangerous to drive so we should just authorize the work (over $800 - about the price of the tires?) We went and got the car anyway and brought it to 2 separate shops to verify the ball joints issue. Both verified that the ball joints were fine! Told them we would pick up the tires but when I got there, they tried to load in the wrong size tire. I caught it and then they said they would have to order the tires (didn't you have them a few days ago when you had the car for mounting?) Finally picked up the correct size tires a few days later and left. Have now been driving the vehicle for more than 2 YEARS without needing ball joints! More
