They quickly jacked the price up on a 2019 Tesla Long Range they have for sale. It was originally posted on their website at $35,995. They told me they made a mistake while advertising the price and it’s actually $39,995. Obviously, this call was a product of greed and no mistake was made. I obviously objected to this and they told me they will do what they want. The reason the price of this vehicle was where it was at is it has a tow away accident on the Carfax report. Please check the report carefully before you purchase this vehicle. I’m not sure if it’s illegal to “bait and switch” in Massachusetts and I’m not going to bother looking into it. I’m glad they called me to inform me they are greedy xxxxxxxx and they didn’t receive my business. However, I will be informing Capital One that they are using their platform to false advertise. I could see them taking a higher price if offered, but raising the price after garnering attention is bad business. Good luck and shop carefully with these guys. More
