When I wanted to consider other brands, Chuck made it easy to test drive cars at other Bommarito dealerships. I found Bommarito on the internet while researching VW Beetles. They were offering $2,000.00 more off a Beetle then the dealerships around the Cedar Rapids Iowa area. I contacted Bommarito VW dealership Beetles. They were offering $2,000.00 more off a Beetle then the dealerships around the Cedar Rapids Iowa area. I contacted Bommarito VW dealership by email around 10:00 in the evening and Jay contacted me the next day at 9:00. Jay was very friendly, informative and seemed very sincere and honest. We ironed out most of the deal over the phone, since I didn't want to drive 5 hours down to the dealership only to find out they were going to be pushy and not follow through on the details we discussed over the phone. I ended up having the following day off from work, so I called the dealership to let them know that I would be down. I arrived at the dealership at 3:00 (the dealership closes at 6:00). Jay had the day off so I was greeted by Chuck. Chuck made me feel comfortable, he was also very knowledgeable, seemed honest and was not pushy. I was interested in the black VW Beetle convertible or the blue VW Beetle Turbo with the sunroof. I did test drive both cars but wasn't sure which car to pick. We decided to walk the lot and see what other VW Beetles they had available. We found a dark gray diesel convertible on the lot. I had very little knowledge regarding a diesel, but Chuck was very informative. I really liked the idea of getting better gas mileage (usually over 40 miles per gallon). I was impressed on how well the negotiation went on my trade in also, I felt comfortable with the deal I received. Well, I decided to get the gray VW Beetle diesel convertible. Chuck was great in explaining the figures involved with the purchase transaction. The financing went smoothly also. The financing officer offered additional options, but never felt pressured to purchase them. Chuck took time to go over all the options and features on the Beetle, even though it was past their closing time. I emailed Chuck the next day with a couple of questions and he called me right back to answer them. Jay followed up a couple of days later to see how I was doing and if I had any additional questions. Would I go back to Bommarito to purchase another car in the future? You bet. This was one of the few times I worked with a dealership where I felt they really cared that I was really happy with my purchase. If you want a great deal, without feeling pressured or having to stay hours and hours while the salesperson and manager work out a car deal, then I would suggest Bommarito. I would sincerely recommend working with Jay and Chuck on your car next purchase, they were great! Thanks for a great purchasing experience Bommarito. More

I called Bommorito Volkswagen from Springfield, IL to inquire about a Beetle Convertible we'd seen on their website. I was transferred to George Bussey, and found him to be very helpful. He answered all my questions, and when I told him we would be there that afternoon to see the car, he stated that he would have in out in front and ready for us to see. When we drove onto the lot, there it was, as promised, and there was George as well. We looked at the car, was offered a test drive, which we declined since we'd already driven one, and told he we would take the car. In an hour and a half, we were driving off the lot with our new VW Beetle Convertible. We've never purchased a car with that much ease. Another salesman offered to have the car detailed while we did the paperwork, and all the forms were ready for us to sign almost immediately. It was amazing. Thanks to George. PS. We love our new car, and are looking forward to many years of fun in our new "toy". And, I don't want to forget about a wonderful surprise that arrived in the mail yesterday...cookies. Their finance manager seriously had our best interest in mind, and gave us some very sound advice. Additionally, when we were having a bit of trouble with our insurance company, he took his time to help us contact someone who was more than helpful in that area...which saved us $400.00 a year! We highly recommend this dealership, and would not hesitate to buy from them again (actually, the last new car we bought was from a different Bommarito dealership. I went in to look at the used Passat's on the lot that I had been researching on line. Jay couldn't have been better. I wound up buying a new car in lieu of the used.
