I was looking for a car for my Parents. I was recommenced by an employee with in the Bob Lamphere Org. I took that opportunity to look for a used car. 2007 or newer 4 door and power windows and locks and A/C by an employee with in the Bob Lamphere Org. I took that opportunity to look for a used car. 2007 or newer 4 door and power windows and locks and A/C with radio and was low in miles. Our first attempt to the lot was not a success. We left them our number and the next day they called. They said they had a car in our price range and to look at it on the website. SO we did and liked it and went down to look at it and it was everything and more than we wanted. We also had a specific amount we wanted the car for being it was a cash deal on a used car. We bought a Hyundai Sonta 2008 35,000.00 miles for under 13K. Which was great because we were next door at Beaverton Hyundai and they wanted a lot more than that for a Elentra. Greg was great! He was very truthful and was not pushy and didn't feed you lines of BS. He had the car waiting and warmed up and was very attentive. I recommend Greg for anyone looking for a car! More
I needed a "city" car; and I wanted a car at a good price that handled well with all the extras and great looks. After looking at a Mini Cooper and Toyotas, I went to look at Hondas. I was not planning on that handled well with all the extras and great looks. After looking at a Mini Cooper and Toyotas, I went to look at Hondas. I was not planning on buying that day, but I left with a 2010 Civic. I could not say enough good things about Greg Abell - professional, knowledgeable and a great listener. I got a great deal on a loaded vehicle (including Navigation). I would highly recommend Greg as a sales person. Finally, I have used the service and parts department - again, professional, well-organized and efficient. Great dealership! More
They were very helpful in selecting a car. There was no pressure with the sale and the financing was easy to go through. Paper work made easy and explained thoroughly. I visited Lanphere Beaverton Honda looking at a used FJ Cruiser. I was in the market, went and test drove the car and then informed them that I had no trade and wanted to know what they would sell the car Cruiser. I was in the market, went and test drove the car and then informed them that I had no trade and wanted to know what they would sell the car for as the "listed" price was of course too high. It was a Saturday and I wanted to visit several dealerships which I explained before my test drive so I just wanted to get a "bottom line" price on several used FJ's and I intended to make a purchase a couple of days later. After 40 minutes at the dealership, the sales manager would not give me a price, but only wanted to know what I would pay him for the car. Frustrated, I decided to leave and informed my salesman that I was leaving and if they wanted to give me a price to write it down on a card and give it to me. He came back from the sales manager with a card where he had written down the "asking price" listed on the car. If this was their final price, the salesman could have told me that 40 minutes prior, and I would not have wasted my time test driving the car. 2 days later, I sent an e-mail to the Dealership GM telling of my frustration with his sales force, and made him an offer to purchase the car for $21,500 if he was interested in selling it. The amount was based on Edmunds TMV for the car in Excellent Condition, even though the FJ would not qualify as "Excellent" as it needed new tires. The GM responded to my e-mail with an explanation of how they determined the asking prices for their cars and included several attachments explaining how much they had into the car. He sent several listings of auction values of FJ's, however, on another attachment paperwork showed that he did not purchase the FJ at auction, and he took it in on a trade. According to his paperwork, he gave more on trade than the retail value of the car in "excellent" condition at Edmunds, com and he almost gave the NADA Retail price on trade. Not sure how many dealerships actually give retail value for trade in ??? He also told me that they had done over $1000 of repair/detailing work to the car. I find it harder to believe that you would give retail value on a trade-in on a car that needed $1000 worth of repairs. As I looked further at the paperwork which he sent me, I realized that he actually billed himself for the repairs, so he is up-charging himself for the purpose of bookkeeping paperwork. His paperwork, also showed that the car had been on his lot for about 3.5 months ...........probably a good sign that the car is overpriced ??? After sending me all of this documentation trying to convince me that he had over $23,000 into the car, he finished by saying, and I quote: "If you are interested still I will sell the FJ for $21500 and you can contact me at 503-572-6671 to discuss further." I replied to his e-mail saying that I was willing to purchase the FJ for this price and asked when I should come by and who I should ask for. After not receiving a response to my e-mail (VERY UNPROFFESSIONAL), a couple of days later, I called Mr. Lennard to get a response to my e-mail as I was interested in purchasing the FJ. At this time, he told me that he couldn't sell me the FJ for the price he said he could but he could sell it to me for $23,500 if I wanted it. I then told him goodbye and hung up, but as I thought more about this, I couldn't figure out why he didn't respond to my e-mail, other than this was just a "salesman trick" to get me back into the Dealership. Had I actually gone to the Dealership to purchase the car, to then be told that they would not honor the price he gave me I would have gone Ballistic. It is obvious to me that Bob Lanphere Auto Group operates under SUSPECT business practices, and does not place value on the time or feelings of their potential customers, and places NO value in term honesty. Be very careful when dealing with the family of Lanphere Auto Group. Beaverton Honda Beaverton Infiniti Beaverton Kia Newberg Dodge Chrysler Jeep More

In Beaverton there are alot of dealerships that are actually linked. Beaverton Honda and Beaverton Kia are actually owned by the same people. We got screwed by both Honda and Kia. First we went to H actually linked. Beaverton Honda and Beaverton Kia are actually owned by the same people. We got screwed by both Honda and Kia. First we went to Honda. We wanted to test drive the Fit. They wanted to charge us $19,ooo on a car that I could've gotten anywhere else for $16,000. They said they couldn't budge the price at all. Yea right. So we went down to their Kia dealership to look at some of their used cars. We found a car we liked, that we thought wasn't too bad a mark up and that our bank would actually finance us for. $10,000 for a car that had 100,000 miles on it. We were sick of shopping so we decided to just take it. We didn't bicker on the price at all and we actually signed the paperwork. We had a tough time even doing that though. They kept forgetting the options we didnt want and saying that we had actually said we wanted them. Twice they forgot to take a thousand dollar option off when they printed off the paperwork for us to sign. And then we found out that when they said GAP insurance was "included" that meant included in the price. Ding, another five hundred in their pocket. It took forever to get through financing, they kept asking for more money down, we actually ended up just calling our bank. Our bank said sure heres ten grand no money down. Just like that, I don't know what the big deal was. They also promised us 4.5 new buyer interest for only five hundred down. Nope, got the paperwork it said 15. Then they wouldn't give us our five hundred back without proof that theyd actually cashed it! You think they would know something like that.. And the kicker, we get the car home. We've signed the paperwork. We're pissed but we've got our car. They say bring it in next day to get it detailed and some things on it fixed tires etc.. We give them the keys and never see our car again. I guess they screwed another lady and her deal bounced and her trade in was the car we were buying so they had to give it back. Our insurance information was still in the friggin glove box!!! She called us to say they hadn't actually fixed anything and the little problem with the car was actually something shed taken it to the shop to get it appraised for. $1200 to fix! We go to the dealership, and they try to get us to sign for another car! They say they have the exact same car on another lot in a different state! Bull! I'm not buying something without seeing it! And they never apologized! They acted like we screwed them. Saying well, theyd already started to ship the car down.. BULL! They didnt even want to give us a ride home when we returned their loner car. And we saw the paperwork on their desk for what they had bought the tradein for. $5000! They tried to make $5000 off us! They tried to sell us a car for ten when they bought it for 5! And they said they didnt have any room to lower the price! Save yourself the trouble and dont even step foot on their lot! Unless you bring a lawyer! More
We have been shopping for a minivan and are serious about buying a used Odyssey. What better place to learn about this van than Beaverton Honda? We learned nothing because in the 20 minutes we spent on buying a used Odyssey. What better place to learn about this van than Beaverton Honda? A great no hassle experience. I did not receive any "horrible" treatment like the other reviews listed below. I was at the dealership for a reasonable amount of time. Picked out an accord, test drove i "horrible" treatment like the other reviews listed below. I was at the dealership for a reasonable amount of time. Picked out an accord, test drove it, negotiated price and out of the finance department under two hours. I will be back to this dealership because of the great experience with the process alone. Response to the comment before mine about not ever getting a call back from the salesperson. If you wanted the car why didn't you go to the dealership to buy it instead of waiting around for a call back? Obviously someone was AT THE DEALERSHIP to buy it. You snooze you lose. More
Horrible customer service. We were approved, picked out a car, and called at 10am to say that we would be in to sign the deal. The sales team did not call us back, so we called again at noon. The guy sai a car, and called at 10am to say that we would be in to sign the deal. The sales team did not call us back, so we called again at noon. The guy said that the message was given, but our sales person was still busy. Still no call- called once more at 1:30pm and found out they sold the car out from under us at 12:30pm. We received no apology and there was no hint of customer service. I am in a customer service field, and I know that the first thing I would do is try to correct the error and sell the clients another car. It was basically "we don't want your business". All because they probably made more money off the person who ended up buying the car. More
I have been bitten more than once by this dealership. Sales and service. Dont ask me why I went back after having a bad experience once. The dealership is very close to my house and I am usually very bus Sales and service. Dont ask me why I went back after having a bad experience once. The dealership is very close to my house and I am usually very busy with work 6 days a week. I had a bad sales experince with the dealership salesperson telling me that everything was right with my vechicle when clearly the aloghnment was way off. I went there twice to fix it but they kept telling me that their service ppl are certified and they know better. Only a call to Honda USA made them check it again and yes, the alignment was way off. For the regular maintainence they have a habit of checking off stuff on their cheklist without bothering to actually having a look at the car. this has happened to me twice on two seperate visits. Had to take the car in for servicing within a week of regular scheduled maintainence. And most of their service people know less than you about your car troubles if you take 30 minutes to google the problem. Do yourself a favor, stay away from Beaverton Honda if you can. More
