Disappointed! I bought a 2012 Honda Civic (certified used car) around this time last year. The odometer reading was about 9k miles when I bought it. When I took it for regular oil change for the first time, I was told that the tires were not in good shape, but it's okay to drive for a while. That was in January, just after three months of buying the car. By the way, I also have a seven years servicing contract with Honda. Recently it became so critical that I was forced to change them. I was under the impression that the tires are still in good condition for at least next 30k miles, if not more. Whereas, the actual condition was so bad that for long time I drove the car with serious danger without knowledge. Luckily enough, they didn't burst on us and I changed them before that happened. Anyway, when I told the servicing guys that the tires should still be in good shape and it's not anyhow my fault so I should not be paying for the tires, they completely disregarded my concern and basically said they cannot do anything about it. On top of tire changing, I was told that the alignment was totally off as well, so I had to pay another 90 bucks for that. So, I would say, my impression about them after one year is not the same as it was a year back. I am DISAPPOINTED! More

I came in at night interested in test driving two vehicles I was interested in. Angela had a pleasant, unassuming manner and a great sense of humor which immediately put me at ease. She was very helpful in answering questions and really helped me make a decision that I was obviously struggling with. It was getting later in the evening, I didn't have a lot of time and figured I'd need to return another time to make a purchase, but Angela (and others) stayed open past normal closing time to help me purchase my vehicle and in a very short time. Oversold on service I went in for a new alternator. I got upsold on timing belt replacement. In trying to figure out if this was warranted I got no good answers. For some reason, they think that the Maintenance Minder should be ignored and I should listen to their recommendations. So I spent an extra $1K and not sure it was something that was necessary. Worst car shopping experience ever!!! Went online to find the car I wanted to purchase. Printed out the vehicle inventory off of Bob Lanphere's Beverton Honda website. We went to the dealership that night hoping to drive away in a brand new 2016 Honda Pilot EX-L with sensing!!! However the car was not there. It was in transit so why was it not listed on the ad? The sales team promised us a brand new Honda Pilot that would be delivered in a few days off the truck bed!!! To reserved the Honda Pilot I put down $1000. We got a call from the dealer saying the car is here ready and detailed. Went to the lot and was disappointed that my brand new car was not NEW. They did not detail the car the interior and exterior was dusty, there was a stain in the back seat, trunk carpet was damage and the passenger rear fender had a dent. In addition the car had 14 miles. They lied to us. Due to the situation we requested for a refund of our $1000. I feel disrespected, lied to, and devalued as a customer/person and my time was wasted. I came in eager and excited to purchase my first brand new car but was disappointed and saddened at the whole experience. We sent an email to the GM of that dealership. He contact us back and acknowledged that they did a poor job detailing the car and that they replaced the damage. He then offered us a reduction of $250 off the pilot. Really? No thank you sir. More

Poor Customer Service, Slimey Sales Experience After buying a brand new Honda Odyssey here in 2000, and experiencing several years of mediocre service on the vehicle, I started paying more attentio After buying a brand new Honda Odyssey here in 2000, and experiencing several years of mediocre service on the vehicle, I started paying more attention to comments from others about dishonest behavior by the service crew, and I decided not to do business with them again, and ended up at the Hillsboro dealership when I bought my 2012 Odyssey. They treated me right and I didn't end up feeling slimed after I bought the next van. In 2014 I had a relapse and bought a 2014 Odyssey back at the Beaverton dealership. I love the van, but I walked away feeling slimed again by the sales process. Despite promises of excellent service after I bought the van, each experience has been worse and worse. I don't trust what they tell me and they are clearly full of (stuff) when I ask them questions related to the strengths and weaknesses of the 2014 model. The latest was that I called in for required service that was essentially an oil change, and was told I had to wait several weeks for an appointment, or come in as a walk-in and wait for an undetermined amount of time. Do you think they are understaffed? Regardless, I have a job and can't afford to spend a day at the dealership. They didn't even seem embarrassed that they offered such poor service. I am taking the van elsewhere for service, and definitely won't be back to the Beaverton dealership again when it comes time to replace my wife's car later this year. Might go to Hillsboro again or to the Gresham dealership that has also treated me right. More
