Be extremely cautious I purchased a used car from Stephen, and NINE days later the engine threw a rod. It's now in the salvage yard. While Oskar Motors was not liable to I purchased a used car from Stephen, and NINE days later the engine threw a rod. It's now in the salvage yard. While Oskar Motors was not liable to do anything because I bought the car "as-is", they offered no help whatsoever. In fact, Stephen led me to believe that the owner, Hussein Mawani, was trying to find me some sort of warranty. For three weeks he told me they were working on it. I finally gave up. They could have easily offered help in other ways: by referring me to a mechanic, by referring me to a salvage yard that would give me a fair price for it, or by offering me a trade-in value for it. Instead they led me on for weeks. I can't believe I was so naive to believe that they were trying to help me out. More
