My wife has special needs in a car and Gene learned we were looking for a used car that could meet her physical needs. After several months of looking, he found a car that he thought would work for us an were looking for a used car that could meet her physical needs. After several months of looking, he found a car that he thought would work for us and told us to come in soon. When we arrived, we found a nearly immaculate, three-year-old Avalon. Gene got us a very good price for the car. But that wasn't all. We had visited Beck on the south side to look at a used Avalon they had listed. They were not particularly interested in selling us a used car and would not deal on the price of the car they had or on the price of our trade-in. We got an offer on our used car at Car Max, and then went back to Gene at Butler Toyota. He offered us $1,000 more than Beck had, and $2,000 more than Car Max. We are very pleased with our new car and with the price we paid. Most of all, though, we are delighted with the personal service and care that Gene showed us. He manages the used car staff, which suggests to us that the rest of the sales agents will work just as hard. But there is more -- the Butler staffer who arranged our financing was able to find us a loan that was a full percentage point below what we had expected to pay, so we ended up paying a little more than we had really wanted to pay in order to get more car than we had thought we could afford -- but we still stayed within our budget.
