Bad even for a high volume Toyota dealership. An absolute joke, even for a Toyota dealership. I went into Beaverton Toyota interested in a new car. When I went in, it was just as the new model An absolute joke, even for a Toyota dealership. I went into Beaverton Toyota interested in a new car. When I went in, it was just as the new model years were coming out, so Toyota was running specials on the previous new models to clear the inventory. Toyota had low finance rates on the cars, and the dealers were making great deals on the the cars as well. I told the sales person I had researched this and that I was looking for a 2016 model specifically for this financing. They did not have any, but they said they had similar deals on the 2017 rebates and financing from Toyota. Because of this, I agreed to look at a new model rather than what I had come in to see. After an hour or so of looking we found a car that would work. We went back to the office to look at the numbers. We were shown the pricing with the rebate and promotional interest rate. I asked for a discount, but was told that they use fixed pricing and if they come off the price at all, they would be fined. I told them that if they would at least throw in floormats (because they sell their cars without floormats) I would buy the car. They told me that would be illegal. Then they told me that if I had a trade they could negotiate, but without a trade, there is no negotiation. How does that make sense? Everyone knows that a trade is just another element to the same deal. Taking money of the car or paying more for the trade, is the same thing. It is the same money. They are not allowed to negotiate their prices, but they can negotiate on trades? That is ludicrous. I told them that they were not being very helpful and I would have to think about it that day. Clear pricing is advantageous for the dealership and no one else. Most dealers can lose money on a car here and there. They can also make up for it on other cars. CLEAR pricing just means that they have set a nice margin on every car and tell you they are sacrificing a little to help you out. I went home and thought it over, then called in and told him we would do the deal. He said he would not be available that night, and would have a colleague finish the deal. We went in to sign up, and noticed that the vehicle price had changed. They told me that it was an accident that they quoted the price with the financing and the rebate (which later I found to be true). I was already unhappy that they would not budge on the price, but now the price was going up $500, so I told them I would not be taking delivery as I felt they had used this trick to get me in the seat. They laughed at me and were bewildered at the fact I would leave over $500. I told them it is more the principle of how I am being treated and not the money. I told them that if $500 is not a big deal, they should take it off the car. They told me they weren't taking anything off the car. I had gone over these details VERY clearly from the beginning of the deal and was reassured that the financing deal and rebate would both be applied, but later found out it was just a trick to sell a car. The thing that bothered me the most regarding the transaction, was probably the fact that the sales manager would not come and try to save the deal. He had the sales guy relaying messages 20 feet from his desk to me. He was looking right at me and never had the nerve to come and talk to me. He was a coward. I could not believe that he had 0 interest in actually trying to save a deal. All I needed was to know that he cared and that he wanted my business, but he clearly was the type of manager that was a sales person long enough that he naturally became a manager and did not have the education or experience needed to provide good customer service. In the end he let us walk out the door without even trying to talk to us. I love toyota's, but I hate the dealers. All they care about is volume, and they are very good at making it known. This dealer is worse than most. At the end of the day I found a MUCH better price in Springfield. I was very happy that Beaverton Toyota did this as I saved thousands of dollars on the car and did not even have to negotiate in Springfield. More

John greeted us a the front door of Beaverton Toyota & asked us classic sales questions. Quickly he determined our needs; (a car with less mileage than our current car, 165,000 miles), a car that my wife would not be ashamed to be seen in (a problem with our current car) and a car with working air conditioning (another problem with current car). And then John determined our wants; smaller than our present Chrysler Minivan; but still with storage space & fold down seats; modern safety features (back up camera; lane departure, etc). All of this took only about 10 minutes. John showed us the Highlander first, a little too big & then the RAV 4 which was just the right size. In a another 20 minutes we had see every RAV 4 on the lot & selected the one we wanted. A brief discussion on new versus used. We chose new and we were done. In less that an hour! More

Compared to other dealerships I've looked at, this one tops the charts. More

One person one hour? How about three people three hours. The positive about this dealership is the large volume of used vehicles available to choose from. What I didn't like was how long it took to finalize everything despite a pre-approval letter from our credit union. Apparently our info wasn't "in the system" so we had to fill everything out again and like all other dealers they spend way too much time trying to upsell you on warrantees. It was disappointing that the couple of basic accessories we wanted to buy weren't ready when we were handed the keys. They should have been rung up and in the car by the time we were done. More waiting. More

LOVE my new Corolla David was a joy to work with, he let me walk up and down the rows, answered the same questions multiple times and didn't roll his eyes once! Sunday Service Hours I know this probably isn't popular with the employees, but Sunday Service hours are such a great convenience for the customers. I love the new facility with all the great amenities it offers, especially the additional customer parking spots. The Assistant Service Manager's are always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I appreciate that they don't try and sell me something that I don't need. This helps build trust in the future recommendations! Way to go Beaverton Toyota!!! More
Not the same BT as before.. I used to have some not as expectation experience with Beaverton Toyota. Couple friends of mine also gave me lower than expect comments. This time, I bought a hybrid Rav4 with BT and they actually has a good attitude and patient to help me and my family to pick the right vehicle. Wasif did a great job.
