No-hassle, reasonable trade-in value, good salesman. Came by about a month ago to browse and Mr. Syed came out immediately to greet me. I made it clear I was browsing only and we chatted for a few minutes and he gave me his card after describing how the lot was laid out and that there is a secondary lot. I went to the secondary lot about a month later and found a vehicle I wanted to test drive. I don't know whether Mr. Syed was "on duty" that day but I called him and he agreed to meet me at the secondary lot at my convenience. I drove the vehicle and liked it. Mr. Syed was eager to show me features of the vehicle and answered all my questions. I told him the price was too high for me and he insisted no negotiation was possible. I, in turn, insisted the car's price may be non-negotiable but the value of the trade-in is certainly negotiable. He came back with a trade-in value and I had him calculate what my price would then be. Told him I wasn't paying over X amount and he raised the trade-in value (after discussing with evaluator) to meet my price. Mr. Syed was friendly throughout that process and throughout explaining all the options for additional warranty coverage. More

He was very helpful and didn't try to "push" the sale on me. I ended up coming back around 8:15pm to look at the truck again and bought it. 2017 Highlander My husband and I went to Beaverton Toyota to test drive the 2017 Highlander Limited Platinum. We have never had such an easy time buying a car! Since the team is non-commission, it really took the pressure off of both parties. Ron Chirrick took us out for our test drive and answered every question we had. Zack Berman took our order, since they did not have to Highlander we wanted on the lot. He then called me when it was ready and we went in to sign the papers with him. We couldn't be happier with the customer service, and with our Toyota! I can't stop telling people about what a great experience this was for us. Ron, and Zack, thank you guys so much! You were both really great to work with! Beaverton Toyota is definitely raising the bar when it comes to car sales. More

The last three vehicle purchases we've done the exact drill down. At the end of the day, we always end up making the deal with Beaverton Toyota. They are fair, many of their competitors seem to be in the business for themselves and not the customer. Yes, they have to make money to operate, but it should be fair to all parties involved in the transaction. I feel Beaverton Toyota always is and this is why we end up there. The math doesn't lie. Bought a used Prius c, Joel is a great salesperson I STRONGLY object to having to create a password on dealerrater.com "because that's how the salespeople get paid." That said.... I walked in without an appointment, prepared to buy a used Prius c. I was pleased with the no-haggle pricing, and I walked out with a car! I feel very, very lucky that I met Joel as I walked in. He did not do "selling" -- rather he did support of the shopping process. That's exactly what I need when making a buying decision. Especially when I've done a lot of research online. Joel was totally respectful and not condescending (for a 60 year old female shopping alone, this is not a given!) He was patient as I asked questions and compared the 5 used cars on the lot. He let me drive two of them. He got information as I needed it. He quietly made a couple of useful points I hadn't thought of. He made a case for the Toyota pre-owned certification in a way that made me agree. He didn't push me toward the higher priced cars. My only negative experience was not with Joel, but with his "boss," regarding the extended warranty. I'd seen this in the paperwork presented by Joel, who simply accepted my firm "no" interrupting his explanation. But the boss guy had to come over and start telling me anecdotes about people who were glad they had the extended warranty. (Anecdotes are not data, and MY anecdote is that I bought a 2002 Prius, new, and it needed nothing for 14 years.) I interrupted him to say, "please stop selling." I wish I'd said, "apparently you don't believe in your own claims of how reliable a Toyota is." This boss guy had to get the last word -- as he was leaving he said, "we really believe in this." I wish I'd said, "I really believe that trying to talk me out of my NO is so disrespectful as to be morally wrong, and I am about to tear up this deal." (I have walked out of three different health care offices when they insisted on my SSN -- and asked for my forms back to tear them up -- so that's a real threat.) As it happens, Joel had earned enough of my goodwill that I completed the transaction. Joel was stellar! Anyone who gets to buy from him is very fortunate. More
