I told him from the onset that I was still undecided as to what I was going to lease. I was turning in a lease on a Honda and was seriously considering leasing from them again. The consumate profession that he is, he never "knocked" his competition! He went on and compared the two vehicles in a professional and courteous manner. He was never pushy and thanked me for taking the time to come in and see him. He also asked for the opportunity to be of service to me if I should consider a Volkswagen lease. After looking at the Honda and Jeep, I decided I wanted the Volkswagen truck. Remembering my plesant experience with Al, I returned to the dealership and happily gave him my business. On the day of pick-up, he patiently explained every single detail of the truck. He even set the radio stations and hooked up the bluetooth! I am thrilled with my truck!!!! My brother-in-law has been a Volkswagen driver for many years and he has also raved about their vehicles....I can certainly understand why! Due to the great service in 2008, I came back this February to purchase a brand new 2012 GTI. This time, Evelyn was unavailable so Jack Depalo assisted me with my needs. He was extremely pleasant, he understood my budget needs and worked with me to make sure I was at a comfortable monthly payment without having to compromise the features I wanted in my car. Despite being there on a busy Saturday, Jack did a great job at not making me feel rushed. When I was ready to pick up the car and finalize the deal, I met Angelo Alexiades(Finance Manager), he also excelled my expectations. He went over the entire contract very thoroughly. The car was ready by the time I arrived, however, I noticed a small scratch on one of the wheels so Angelo asked to have it switched immediately. It was overall a great experience. The only manner in which people should be treated when making such an important purchase. When I purchase a car, I expect great service, I expect for the seller to want my business, and Bayside Volkswagen continues to exceed my car buying experience expectations. More

Upon reflection- given the economy, the New York Shtick, the other unsavory dealerships not to mention my deluge of enquiries, this team on balance did a fine job! As this is my first vehicle in a sports car class, I must give special kudos to Angelo for his patience and insights on low profile wheel dimensions and aerodynamics.
