I usually get the runaround from men when dealing with cars. NOT HERE. This is by far the best service I've ever had when it comes to anything car related. I thought Jettas were out of my price range, but my father convinced me to check out Bayside Volkswagon and I'm absolutely THRILLED that I did. Jeffrey Schull had sold my father his Jetta, so naturally, we came to see him. My father was with me, but Jeffrey understood that it was ME purchasing the car. Usually, even at a mechanic, if my father comes along, they talk to him as if I'm not there. But seriously, what a class act. I was expecting to get hit by a pushy buy now type, but this was not at all the case. He was open and laid back. Truth be told, I fell in love with the 2010 Jetta SE in the lot, but it was stretching my budget a little, so I wanted to see the 2010 Jetta for a few grand less. I was crushed when I found out it was sold. Jeffrey was such a gentleman. He said he was so sorry but I could always check back because more in that range would become available soon. I asked about the SE model and he told me about all the features and I didn't feel pressured at all to buy because he was understanding of my budget. Once I test drove the thing, I was sold. I wasn't leaving without buying that car. Since it was my first real car purchase, Jeffrey walked me through everything (with my father looking over my shoulder). I would have picked it up later in the day, but he asked if we could get it Wednesday (2 days later) so he could have it cleaned. When I arrived, the car was sparkling like new! Now I thought, well I guess I just do the paperwork and go. They have their money, I have my car...but no! Jeffrey sat with me in the car and showed me how to work everything and made sure I felt absolutely comfortable in the car, which was great, since my last car's only "special feature" was a radio. Jeffrey really made this experience amazing for me. I had the biggest smile on my face driving home. I've already actually referred a woman I know in the market for a Jetta to him already. We just traded in our 2010 Touareg in for the new 2013 model. We initially had an issue with our trade in price but were very happy when Marshall was able to meet where we felt we needed to be. Marlene has always been professional and extremely nice. She has been my service advisor for three years. I feel that if I ever have a problem that I can call her and she will help us out. She also made sure that I was able to get a loaner car, which was very important for me. The car was fixed and casme back to me cleaner than when I brought it in. The delivery of the auto was one the the smoothest I have experienced and the vehicle the features of the vehicle were explained fully. The follow up customer service was also excellent and all the personnel were very helpful. I was called with an appointment for my one month checkup with a few days of delivery. He knew exactly what he was doing, and what he was talking about, and I was confident I wasn't going to get swindled, or ripped off. After discussing my requirements, they appraised my current car, and was able to get me out of my lease a few months early, and into a new car. The pricing was very fair, and after checking several other VW dealers around prior, I was able to sign the deal with Bayside VW. The process was quick, but thorough, and drove away with the car of my dreams, with confidence that I got the best deal around. I love my new car, and would definitely do business again, and would highly recommend it to a friend!!! More
