I responded to a rebate offer that was sent to us in the mail. I called the dealership and made and appointment to see what was possible. We traded our 2010 Kia Forte sedan for the new Kia Forte hatch b mail. I called the dealership and made and appointment to see what was possible. We traded our 2010 Kia Forte sedan for the new Kia Forte hatch back that came out in 2011. Bacari met us promptly at the door ready to do business. He was very pleasant and outgoing to do business with and very professional at the same time. We sent him back four times to get a better deal for us and thanks to his diligence we were able to get the payment we are comfortable with. In the end it cost us very little more to get the 2011 vehicle. Everything went very smooth as we were prepared and Bacari was well prepared to do business. We picked up the car a few days later, after being provided with a loner, the new car exceeded our expectations. He had negotiated several little extras that we did not expect. Before I worked with Shawn Perry, I have bad experiences with the service department i.e, unfriendliness, wrong information provided, coupons or agreements not being honored, etc.; however, I am very satisf with the service department i.e, unfriendliness, wrong information provided, coupons or agreements not being honored, etc.; however, I am very satisfied with Shawn. He is kind, hard working, knows his trade, honest, and a joy to work with. His promises are kept; his advice is good. I would recommend anyone to Shwan but not to the othere people. So far, I have had good work done on my car with one exception. Two visits ago the mechanic left "greese" on my drivers seat. Luckily, I was able to get it out. I am very happy with my Kia and based on two years driving now, I would buy another one with my 72 month contract is up. BEWARE, I've been in two different vehicles in less than 2 weeks. Yes, my credit is less than perfect, but dont let anyone drive off the lot if you arent 100% sure the financing is there, to make matters wo 2 weeks. Yes, my credit is less than perfect, but dont let anyone drive off the lot if you arent 100% sure the financing is there, to make matters worse, they knew I didnt get financed but they sold my trade in. It is not good business practice to sell the trade in before you get the other car financed. When I tried to speak with the General Sales Mgr. Glen Payne, I got NO WHERE.... when I asked him who he had found to finance me, he could not tell me, it would seem logical that if he had found financing that he would be able to recall the name of the bank or company...but he did manage to yell his dis approval of me throughout the entire dealership in front of other customers and staff stating he would not be intimidated by no one, is it inmtimidation to call out a LIAR and to ask fair and honest questions regarding the deal or the lack of financing..he then informed me that he would no longer deal with me and walked away. He left me standing in the dealership. The sales agents are no better, they actually had the nerve to come up and thank me (sarcastically)for putting thier boss in a bad mood. I now have no financed car, my trade in is gone and the general sales mgr. refuses to speak to me, does this sound like anyone you want to do business with????? I hope not!!!
