Called BMW of Sarasota to schedule a 30,000 miles service and was informed that they do not provide a loaner vehicle for schedule maintenance. ?? I would have to pay for a rental vehicle. I've never had any issues with Reeves BMW regarding a loaner vehicle. I guess I'll be driving up to Tampa for service and purchase of my vehicle. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. More

BMW wanted to re-program the car "for better efficiency." My only complaint is that Seth did not have any specific information, except to say I probably wouldn't even notice the changes as it concerned internal functions. I have a 330e hybrid, so I had no idea what to expect. OK. I brought the care in, received a loaner for overnight, returned the loaner in the morning and all was good. Indeed, the EV range seems to have improved so that's very good. Aside from a bit of a wait for what seemed excessive paperwork relating to the loaner, my experience was excellent, and it was very nice to get a car wash in the bargain. I look forward to seeing Seth again for my 10,000 miles service. But BMW should give service managers more complete information. More

Once I checked in and listed two things that needed to be completed under my warranty, they proceeded to do a recall which it's self was very timely. I called the service department twice trying to see what the status was and when would my car be finished. no return call! Finally Susan Director Of Client Services was kind enough to call me back. She went to great links trying to turn A bad thing around. I asked for a leather cleaner. They were out! No compensation there. The car wash was unsatisfactory . If a hand wash is included in my service, then have some work ethic and do the job correctly, or don't offer the service. I hear Mercedes has a great Service & Sales Department, maybe I should trade up! More

The issue was repaired, after debating the price with Maria the service advisor, because of the labor. They wanted to charge me an additional fee after they had agreed on a set price. I picked up my vehicle on June 9,2017.I didn't drive it because I didn't want to add miles, since I had plans to trade it in. The car was in my driveway till June 16. when I opened the car I noticed water inside of my car. There was puddles of water in the front and on the back of the floors. My car did not have this issue before I took it in for service. Maria the service advisor told me to call my insurance carrier and get them involved .I called Allstate, my insurance carrier and they opened a claim. They sent an adjuster to inspect it. The new issue was considered a comprehensive loss which they covered. On June 23, 2017 I received a message from the service advisor letting me know my car is ready to pick up. Maria told me everything was removed and cleaned, BUT there is an issue with the rear sunroof. she claimed the shade cover was not returning forward. Right away, I called my adjuster from Allstate insurance company, who inspected my car and he stated that sunroof was working perfectly when he inspected my car before the service tech took it apart. He even tells me that this is unacceptable because it was in good condition. I spoke with the service manager, Greg who told me " the sunroof issue is a common problem" then after I requested to talk to his boss they determined the WATER sitting there, had caused the damaged of the mechanism of the sunroof. However, my claim never mentioned water damaged in my sunroof. There was no water marks or water damage on the roof of my car or water leaking in my seats( I have pictures to prove it).The report from the adjuster from Allstate reflects the same. I picked up my car July 5,2017 with dirty floors and half of my sunroof shade in place. Tested sunroof and it does not work. The Service manager advised me not to open it and try to sell it to someone who is willing to fix sunroof. And that if I try to trade it in as it is they wont even look at sunroof. The service at BMW of Sarasota is unacceptable. I believe they damaged my sunroof and must repair it and properly fix my car as they were paid by Allstate. I have pictures to prove the carpets were never cleaned. I believe they kept my car there so long to let it dry out and never cleaned my carpets. This has been the most frustrating and stressfull experience and so inconvenient. Its not right for BMW to do this to anyone. Its unacceptable to return my sunroof in pieces. They pride themselves at being the best but this time the best was not delivered.
