The service was wonderful. I was having an issue with my car. It was fixed and I was back on the road in no time. Everyone was helpful and patient in explaining the details of my car problem and with my car. It was fixed and I was back on the road in no time. Everyone was helpful and patient in explaining the details of my car problem and it was 4:35. No one attempted to rush me out because it was close to closing time on at Saturday. I am grateful for such a wonderful experience. More
It's absolutely amazing to me that BMW NA continues to allow this company to maintain a BMW franchise. Kelly Barbour is an absolute joke as a Svc. Mngr. He can't even look you in the eye when talking to you as he knows what utter BS he's spewing because of the company line. It's a shame as this is the 3rd and LAST BMW I will ever own. They could care less about this review or my business, but If I can save one person from doing business with these guys it will be worth it. They had my car for repairs(which included software updates they claim didn't exist until I had to print out the documents online and show them) and when they returned my car, it was filthy and the interior had been scratched and scarred. Don't do business with these folks, you will regret. All of these reviewers can't be wrong. More
went to pick up my new bmw which I had ordered and waited 4 months for, and they renegged on the deal and made me feel like a common criminal in the process. Sean was the most obnoxious sales manager I have 4 months for, and they renegged on the deal and made me feel like a common criminal in the process. Sean was the most obnoxious sales manager I have ever dealt with anywhere. I will not step foot back in that dealership and would gladly drive 30 miles out of my way to get the car serviced elsewhere. More
Over the past 4 years I have had a couple of dealings with the dealership. First, when I purchase my 2007 BMW Z4(si)(new) their price was beaten by $5k on the pbone by Hendricks in Charlotte. Purchased with the dealership. First, when I purchase my 2007 BMW Z4(si)(new) their price was beaten by $5k on the pbone by Hendricks in Charlotte. Purchased in Charlotte for $6k below Leith's price in the end. Had Leith perform minor service on the vehicle with no problems. Within the last week I took the car in because it was not running right. They correctly diagnosed that it was the ignition coil, but also diagnosed other problems. 1) Bushings on the lower control arms of the suspension needed replacing; 2) Back brakes needed replacing to the tune of $309 (when questions I was told by representative that I had another 1 1/2 to 2 years left on the brakes depending on driving habits; 3) Leak in gasket in rear of transmission $600+ (This would be the 4th time this car has been in with major transmission problems). Previously told at another dealership that transmission should be replaced only to have BMW to say NO and just repeatedly change the transmission fluid; 4) I needed to rotate the tires (This is a Z4(si) and you do not rotate the tires (per BMW)since it has different size tires on the rear and front. After having given preliminary approval to the ignition coil, bushings, and brake pads and requesting them to call if the roters needed replacing. After going to dealership for them not calling me on the number I had given them twice the representative was on the speaker phone with the receiptionist and said he was going to lunch and that I could come back or call after his lunch. Guess he didn't realize he was on speaker. Received a phone message this time telling me that roters had to be replaced and the brakes would be $599 for pads and roters. I told him not to do the brake job. We went over the costs for all items that had been repaired. When I arrived at the dealership Brody told me that there was a $105 charge for them checking the brakes since they had taken the tires off and calipers off. Never when we were going over the charges was this charge discussed. Requested to see the service manager and he got another rep. to talk to my wife and I (NOT THE SERVICE MGR.). They absolutely told me that they could not take off the charge regardless of whether they had told me about the charge or not. (Such a lie) Finally, after a heated discussion with these two I asked for the owner thinking I had been talking to Service Mgr. Brody called Service Mgr. Kelly and Kelly had them take off the $105. Will never go back to any Leith dealership even for an oil change. More
my wife and i was in the market to buy a car sometimes around 03/2012.so we begain looking early. we went into leith bmw on 12/09/11.we will never forget because of such great and professional experience around 03/2012.so we begain looking early. we went into leith bmw on 12/09/11.we will never forget because of such great and professional experience we encountered, it starting with our sales person barry frucht.we were just out on the lot looking over some cars and he approach us in a vary nice and humble way and offered his help.we told him what we were looking for and we was doing just that looking. so he took us to the part of the lot we needed to be.we felt no pressure from him at all.he just took our question as we ask them, and offered us to test drive what ever we like.keep in mine we are just looking, not buying until next year.well after test driving three bmw's 325i,528i and the 535i,the car sold it self on top of the great deal barry got for us.he saved us money that we didn't even know about, and didn't really have to tell us of.we were vary greatfull.then we went into colleen office for the financing part.she was the nices person anyone could ever meet.after going over the contract and with wanted advice she saved us even more money, after all it is all about the benjamins!!! so after all was said an done we walked rather drove away in our 2008 certified 535i bmw.thanks guys..and by the way as thay say,it is the ultimate driving mechine!!! I took my 2007 525 I BMW in for regular oil change and notice after I picked it up that there was some fluids dripping from my car. The following week my car computer indicated that my car was over heati notice after I picked it up that there was some fluids dripping from my car. The following week my car computer indicated that my car was over heating. I took it back to Leith Bmw service dept. and they said that the electrical pump on my car had went out. I had no leakage until they service my car. My car warranty had just ran out. This really made me think on how honest this service dept. really is. I called my service advisor 4 times before he finally call me back I even left a message with their supervisor and never heard back from him. I express my concerns to him and mention that there were no prior indication of leakage until they service my car. I don't think a BMW with only 52,000 miles water pump and sensor just go bad if so, they should really stop calling this vehicle the "utilmate driving machine". The people at Leith act to stuck up and seem to not care. I will not be taking my car back to them again!! More

They were straight forward in their process and did not put on pressure like other dealerships. They have gone above and beyond to answer questions about the vehicle even after the sale. I would recommend the dealership to other people without a doubt. More
I was in the lookout for a used but clean beamer for quiet sometime now and have had few unpleasant experiences with some other dealers on trade-in price. When I saw this car on leith, it was just a mat quiet sometime now and have had few unpleasant experiences with some other dealers on trade-in price. When I saw this car on leith, it was just a matter of 2 emails and a phone call. The beamer was mine!!! Barry is an exceptional sales guy who treated us professionally and friendly. (We have had some surprise eyebrow raises and different treatments in other dealerships as we are not Americans) We are 100% satisfied with the whole process, time, and price. Kudos to Leith and Barry! More
The sales process is smooth and overall a good experience. However, the good service stopped when I drove the vehicle off the lot. I have had issues with the service department for simple satell experience. However, the good service stopped when I drove the vehicle off the lot. I have had issues with the service department for simple satellite radio installation and protective window treatment. They have given me wrong dates, kept my car for days, no check in or calls to let me know the progress and finally, I have not been offered a loaner car. More
Took the car in for Oil service (as part of service they check the brake pads/rotors/sensors) and Emission light came on. When I drove out of the parking lot, at their closing time, immediately the Brake L check the brake pads/rotors/sensors) and Emission light came on. When I drove out of the parking lot, at their closing time, immediately the Brake Light came on on the instrument panel. They had closed so I had to take it back on a later day. BMW NA Corp Customer Service said that the problem was probably that the sensor came loose. When I took the car back in Leith BMW service said that the rear brakes (pads/rotors/sensors) all needed to be replaced, even though the VERY DAY they supposedly went out, they check off my work list that the brakes were passed. COINCIDENCE??? Isn't it physically impossible for the brakes to wear down within a few hundred yards of the dealership and then trigger the sensor? You decide. Smells fishy.

One of my worst dealer service experiences in my life. Too bad they are the closest, but I will drive further to try out someone new next time.
More
