Lease End Purchase of VW Sportwagen I planned on purchasing my leased 2011 VW Sportwagen entirely over the phone with VW Credit. During my 3rd phone call, the rep I spoke to asked me if I planned on purchasing my leased 2011 VW Sportwagen entirely over the phone with VW Credit. During my 3rd phone call, the rep I spoke to asked me if I had contacted the dealership to give them the opportunity to complete the transaction. I told her I had not and told her of my fears that they would somehow “trick” ? me into purchasing a new car. She told me not only wouldn’t that be the case but that they could likely give me a better rate on my purchase. So I contacted Bob Baker and soon after got a call from Bill Toolen. Bill listened to what I was looking for – a purchase with a low interest rate and a fairly long extended service contract and he was able to give me everything that I wanted mostly over text message and a few phone calls. He was able to beat the VW Credit interest rate by .59 and he was able to get me into a longer than typical extended service contract while getting my VW Certified with the minimum maintenance/repairs necessary. During the short time I had to be at the dealer, my 5 year old son asked for a most random snack (trail mix) and Bill provided that very snack within about 60 seconds. He also made sure that I got a rental car and was able to make my drop off time as convenient for me and my work schedule as possible. I also want to compliment Ron in finance and the service guys who (I assume) did a great job on my car and whoever gave my car a complete detail. My car has been detailed before but this time it looked like a brand new car – not one with 40k miles. All in all, this was a painless transaction and I would not hesitate to purchase my next car from Bob Baker VW. More

Super Happy With My Jetta TDI I have now owned my Jettta TDI Sportwagen for 3 years and I couldn't be happier with it. I Love it as much today as the day I bought it.
