My wife and I are very happy after transitioning to our second Forester Wilderness thanks to the AutoNation Subaru “TradeUp Advantage Program” in Carlsbad, CA. We traded in our 2023 Forester Wilderness plus some cash for a new 2026 Forester Wilderness. During the time we owned the 2023 Forester we appreciated the responsive Service Dept at AutoNation Subaru. Norma Zdon (Service Advisor) and Justin Caligigiuri (Master Tech) were consistently attentive and professional as our 2023 Forester was serviced over the years. Key to staying with AutoNation Subaru was continuity of their Sales Associate, George Mang, who we bought our first Forester from in 2023. An excellent honest communicator, George understood our needs and interest in trading up to a 2026 Forester. At AutoNation, we also benefited greatly from the timely support and involvement of Jamie Weeks (General Sales Manager) who sourced our requested model and was transparent and fair during the trade-in sales process. George was also very helpful as he led us through the detailed final delivery and introduction of our new Forester. We’re glad to still be part of the AutoNation Subaru family. More

I've purchased many new cars in San Diego County over the last 40 years. Some of the experiences were not too bad, but most were horrendous, anxiety-filled experiences. This time, the anxious feeling was back, and so I thought I would prep myself. I watched lots of YouTube videos on how to buy, but that really wasn't much help. I then found CarEdge's rating system for transparent dealers. I decided to go with AutoNation Subaru Carlsbad; they had an "A" rating. My initial contact was with Jake; he was straight forward with me from the get-go. I gave him my offer for the car they advertised, and it was accepted. The car was in transit for a few weeks, but I was in no hurry. Jake kept me up to speed on its progress, and it showed up a few days early. I made an appointment with Jake to come in and check the car out, and the whole experience couldn't have been better. They gave me pretty much what I was expecting on my trade-in, and I paid cash for the rest. All in all, I was very pleased. Sean, the Finance Mgr., was easy to work with and made things go smoothly. So folks, if you want one of the easiest car-buying experiences around, go see these guys. Give them a chance, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. My maintenance experience was very good from setting up the appointment to receiving my car, with one exception. On both maintenance visits so far for my brand new car, I asked that my report be emailed t the appointment to receiving my car, with one exception.
