Have to give them credit for fixing one of the modules on our 2009 Jetta SportWagen. The communication from the service agent could be improved as I had to call to get updates on the progress. Otherwise, goo our 2009 Jetta SportWagen. The communication from the service agent could be improved as I had to call to get updates on the progress. Otherwise, good service. More
Very dishonest with pricing. I had everything done by another body shop that was recommended by AutoNation Volkswagen for ALMOST half the price. example wanted to charge me $75 I had everything done by another body shop that was recommended by AutoNation Volkswagen for ALMOST half the price. example wanted to charge me $75 to replace air filter. The other body Shop did it for $18 NO LABOR. Very dishonest pricing. I would have over paid by more then $1000.00 if I had AutoNation VW do the work. They also reported there "recommendations" to CarFacts when it was only a recommendation. More
So far my experience with AutoNation Volkswagen has been an absolute nightmare. First they sold me a 2016 Tiguan and the entire suspension system was completely shot. Upon purchasing the vehicle I noticed t an absolute nightmare. First they sold me a 2016 Tiguan and the entire suspension system was completely shot. Upon purchasing the vehicle I noticed the drivers side vanity light on the sun visor did not work and the salesman told me to bring it back the next day and that they would replace it under the 90 day warranty. When I returned I was told that it was not covered and had to tell them that their salesman told me it would be fixed. I also noticed the vehicle was very bouncy and squeaky when I went over bumps and upon inspection they said the shocks and struts and sway bar needed to be replaced. I finally got them to agree to replacing the vanity light after getting angry that their salesman told me it would be replaced in the first place. They kept my vehicle for 2 weeks and when I received it back the back hatch no longer opened up. So I had a mechanic inspect it to see if anything else needed to be replaced and they said the oil plug needed a new washer and was leaking oil and the ball joints on each side of the vehicle were bad. Upon taking the vehicle back to AutoNation Volkswagen. I was given the run around and told “oh well we’ll have to see if the ball joints are covered or not and if the back hatch was covered also” they tried to avoid giving me the breakdown of what was covered and I luckily was able to get a printout from one of their financial advisors of what was covered under the 90 day warranty and sent them an email highlighting the parts that needed replacing were indeed covered. Then they wanted me to buy new brakes and rotors in order for them to do the work on the ball joints, back hatch, and oil drain plug washer. I originally agreed and then the next day I sent 3 people emails saying that I did not want them to do the brakes and rotors and that I would just do them myself. Upon picking up the vehicle they tried charging me for the brakes and rotors after I asked them not to change them. So I told them no I’m not paying for that because I told 3 different people that I did not want them replaced. Their sales manager Kurtis finally had to step in and ask why nobody read the emails and that it was they’re fault and I didn’t have to pay for them. Then they wanted to take the new ones off and put the old ones back on and the sales manager told them no. I had the the vehicle inspected again and ended up having a torn CV boot on the driver side axle which luckily I was able to just have replaced by Autonation mobile repair and my experience with them was absolutely wonderful! AutoNation mobile repair is also now going to replace both my control arms on each side of the vehicle and the transmission mount as well. So far my experience with AutoNation Volkswagen’s service department was horrible but Autonations mobile repair is wonderful! More
I went in with my car limping because of a bad fuel injector, so warranty work. They ordered the part the following day (Saturday), and received the part the following Tuesday. This dealership sat on m injector, so warranty work. They ordered the part the following day (Saturday), and received the part the following Tuesday. This dealership sat on my car for over TWO WEEKS with no progress, giving me some excuse that there are people ahead of me and they're a "small shop". Two weeks' worth of people ahead of me?? Manager was rude over the phone, and accused me of yelling when I was trying to get answers (especially since I had told them since drop off that I need the car as I was moving across the country and will be driving). I ended up taking it to another dealership and they got it done in less than 72 hours. More
