AutoNation Toyota Thornton Road

I visited AutoNation Toyota on 6/5/26 for an oil change. Upon entering I was greeted by Courtney one of the service advisors. He offered additional services which I declined ans stuck with the oil change ne Upon entering I was greeted by Courtney one of the service advisors. After waiting over 40 minutes Courtney came and inquired about where I had my last oil change which btw a sticker was already in the car so I'm sure that question had been answered. I advised where I had been and he stated the last company stripped my drain plug and it was over twerked. He then left and returned with a price quote of $887 to replace my oil pan and drain plug. I declined and advised him to have the service techs to put my vehicle back together and I would follow up with the other company. Courtney left again and returned with a new price of $557. Now, I'm pretty confused...you insisted that it was broken and messed up by someone else but you are willing to help me out. Needless to say, I declined again and again asked for my car to be put back together. Now, after waiting for over 3 hours, I am being told my car cantbe put back together and I would need to have my car towed because the old drain plug wont stay in and its not safe to drive. What? I told Courtney I drove it in and needed to drive it out. I was offered a temporary fix of a temp drain which was going to cost $30-$40. I agreed with the temporary fix. 20-40 minutes later, Courtney comes to tell me that my car has been repaired and I only have to pay for the oil change. This all sounded like a guilt repair because YOUR service tech broke the drain plug. This experience was so draining and very deceiving. I am going to go out on a limb and say this treatment would not have been done to a male. I will NEVER visit this location again and its literally 5 minutes away. This is not the first horrible customer service experience, but the first of this magnitude. Taking ownership of a mistake and being honest goes a long way. This was not displayed at this location. BEWARE! More
