Somehow I managed to damage the test vehicle 3 feet into the test drive. But they didn't throw me off the lot, or fire my salesman, Mark Allison. He took it in stride, and made the deal as painless as possible. Mark is the internet sales manager, and everything was pretty much in the bag before I arrived at the lot. I walked away from the deal with a bit of doubt concerning the valuation on my trade-in. Hmmm, knocking $1600 off for the tires was a bit steep, I should have offered to put a set of tires on it myself. I felt I had to take just a bit off the price rating, so consider my rating 4.5 (Really Good). The final sales price on my new Elantra Touring with all the goodies was absolute rock bottom, so I won't squeak too loudly. Overall, I came out with a great deal, and a vehicle that 3 weeks and 1500 miles later is even more impressive than when I researched it. Toyota and Honda better watch out. Hyundai means business, and that comes from someone that built cars for 25 years. More
