Great Sales Associate, Horrible leadership. Being a returning customer to this dealership I expected a lot better, since the year prior I purchased a $54,000 Dodge Ram from this location. How Being a returning customer to this dealership I expected a lot better, since the year prior I purchased a $54,000 Dodge Ram from this location. However what I experienced was the complete opposite of what you would expect for a returning customer. The Sales Representatives (I.E Floor Sales) were extremely considerate and helpful. This review in no way reflects Caleb Fagan or my Sales Rep from last year Jason, but focuses on the floor manager and his underhanded dishonest techniques to earn money, but not customers. I have no illusions that business such as car dealerships and the likes are a for profit, and they have to make money to stay afloat. With this in mind you expect a little pressure and fast talk when you walk into that environment as long as it's done honestly, however this was not the case at this location. The dishonesty, lies and underhandedness that came from the sales manager was completely unprofessional and on the likes of what you would expect from a back lot used car salesman with no morals. He started with the numbers game, now I'm not a mathematician, but I've bought enough cars to understand a monthly payment. However, he proceeded to tell me how monthly payments work depending on how something is worth...yea I got it thanks. After he insulted my intelligence, he proceeds to tell me he wants $1,500 for taxes on the vehicle, which I respond with; no, that's ok all my money is tied up ( of course I have the money, but I have a better than average credit score and I'm not playing that game). Apparently, that answer is not good enough for him and tells me they take Credit cards, Hmm...yea I'm sure you do, who doesn't?! There is no way in Hades at 10% interest, I'm going to go that route, besides I'm financing the car if I wanted to pay 10% I would have put it on my credit card. In the mean time I already know what vehicle I have in mind and its a 2013, being that it's a previous years vehicle I ask what is the discount off the vehicle? He tells me " I can sell it to you at invoice", so I ask how much off of the MSRP is that? He says "$1,000 off", okay I know it's probably less than that, but I accept. While all this is going on they are evaluating my trade, however not once during this whole fiasco does he tell me how much he would give me for it. Now before going into the dealership I researched a couple of sites for trade-in value and the average was between $9-10k which being a returning customer I figured they would honor it, I mean who doesn't appreciate loyalty? Wrong!!! obviously Colorado Springs Dodge Sales Manager could care less. Now, if he would have gone over numbers with me on it I would have agreed on a reasonable number, I'm not trying to make money, but I want a fair deal. When I handed them the keys so they could test drive it and figure out what they could give me for it, he asked me what I thought it was worth and I responded between 8-10k and that was the end of it. Once again I relied on being a repeat customer and the honesty of the dealership Associates...Bad assumption. Once I had finally made it to the finance department I seen what he thought my business was worth $7,500. That's what he gave me for my trade. Here is what they are selling it for: $ 14,995, now assuming the used car Manager is as dishonest as the New car Manager they just made a profit of 7,500...not too shabby. At this point I'm tired and just want to go home, so I cut my losses and sign the paperwork (fully knowing I would never return to this dealership), I figured if this is what my business means to them so be it. I finally make it out to the newly purchased vehicle and prepare to go home, when I look at the paperwork one more time just to be sure. Then I noticed that none of the vehicle information matches my vehicle, not the VIN, or the color...they had sold me the wrong car! I had mentioned earlier that I wanted the red 2013, but ultimately decided on the 2013 that was pearl white, this was mentioned because they prepared the pearl one and all my stuff from my previous vehicle was now in it. I mention this to Caleb, and ask him if this is a problem, ultimately this was a yes. Now I don't blame Caleb, he was helpful honest and understood my needs. However how does this kind of mistake make it through the gauntlet of Sales mangers and Finance office without being noticed or caught? After another painful wait (approximately 1 hour 1/2) I go back to the finance office and sign another set of paperwork. Done with the paperwork I make it out to the vehicle where Caleb expresses his apologies for the mix-up and delay. I told him that I did not blame him and that his Superiors should have caught the mistake if they had been doing their jobs. finally in the vehicle I drive home. After a couple of days go by I get a call from Caleb explaining I needed to get a BW code for the Dealership, not knowing what exactly this is, he proceeds to tell me it's a manufactures rebate code from my insurance company USAA. Confused to what exactly this is I call USAA and they tell me it's a new car incentive given by Dodge in the amount of $1,000. So understanding this I call Caleb back mainly because this was never mentioned during the sales process. He explains to me that the code for my other vehicle (Dodge Ram1500) that I purchased the year before would not work twice. Bewildered, I asked why was this never mentioned while I was at the dealership, was this in addition to the $1,000 that was taken off for the vehicle being at invoice? He tells me he thought that he had said something about it, however I don't have a case of Dementia as of late and I remember what took place. Anyhow, I told him I will get back with him once I figure this out and proceed to re-look the paper work and called the incentive Dept of Dodge. Once I had looked over the paper work as realized what was going on, I understood more clearly. He had not taken a $1,000 off the 2013 vehicle as he said he would in "Good Faith", he went behind my back and tried to use a manufactures rebate that I had never authorized to cover the $1,000 that was supposed to be "at invoice". I could not believe it, not only did he not give me fair trade value he was trying to sell me a 2013 at MSRP! I called back to USAA and asked them if there was any way the dealership could get the BW code without my approval and they told me no, I said good and had them place a note to block it if they did. In the end I called Caleb and told him I would not be sending the BW number because I knew what was going on. I have served 13 years in the military and this is by far the worst professionalism I have seen from a car dealership. The tactics and dishonesty portrayed by the Sales management is beyond any treatment I have ever received as a returning customer or a first time customer for that matter. I will never re-visit this dealership, not even for directions because I pretty sure it would be wrong. I will make sure to tell everyone I know, in the Military and friends/family to avoid this dealership because of my experience. I have never written a bad review of any business, however my ordeal at this business merited it and to me that is no small matter. Once again I place no blame on Caleb Fagan, he was the only reason I put 5/5 on Quality of work and Friendliness. Sincerely, a very unsatisfied customer. More

He knew our price range and needs for the truck and immediately picked out a few that he knew would interest us. Very easy to work with during the paperwork process thoroughly explaining every aspect. He and the sales manager gave us a great discount deals that knocked down the sticker price significantly and made the purchase affordable. Finance and service departments were great and friendly as well. I would encourage anyone that was interested in purchasing a Dodge/Ram to go to Colorado Springs Dodge. More
Our Salesman, Tamas, was courteous, friendly and very helpful in the sale of the car we purchased. Everyone at the Dealership was cheerful, friendly and helpful, making it an enjoyable experience. We ar helpful in the sale of the car we purchased. Everyone at the Dealership was cheerful, friendly and helpful, making it an enjoyable experience. We are in love with our new Dodge Charger and rate it above the "SRT Jeep" we replaced with this vehicle, which is a huge compliment coming fom Mr. B. as he had 3 Jeeps prior to purchasing his SRT (admired by so many of the younger generation)and had it not been for our son (an owner of a Dodge Charger), recommending this particular car to us, we would have stayed with Jeeps. My husband's truck was nickel and diming us so I had made one phone call to Dodge Dealership and spoke with Michael Rotondo. He was very helpful and emailed us some information on a truck we were VERY made one phone call to Dodge Dealership and spoke with Michael Rotondo. He was very helpful and emailed us some information on a truck we were VERY interested in. If it wasn't for him to be so on top of things, my husband and I would of probably sat around on it. But once we received the email, we hopped in the truck and made our way to the dealership. About 10 minutes away, I had called Mike on his cell phone, which he answered right away. Now a days, no one seems to answer their phones so I on that note, I knew he was a hard worker that cared about his clients. He told me that he would have the truck ready to view when we arrived which he kept to his word. We drove up and there it was. Husband then drove the truck and fell in love. We then did some negotiating, then signed some papers and we were off! The paperwork took awhile but we know that's expected so I have no complaints. I will recommend this Dealership anytime and tell them to ask for Michael Rotondo because if it wasn't for him, we probably wouldn't have this truck right now. More
Colorado Springs Dodge gets the title for worst dealership I have ever dealt with. My buying experience was terrible from the begging. It started off by me calling ahead about a test drive, we sche dealership I have ever dealt with. My buying experience was terrible from the begging. It started off by me calling ahead about a test drive, we scheduled a time to come drive the vehicle, but when I got there the car was gone. I rescheduled for the next day, only to return to still no vehicle. They told me it would be ten or fifteen minutes, which turned into an hour before the vehicle arrived. When it arrived it was dirty and had boogers in the back. I guess the managers wife had been driving it for a few weeks...as shown by the 2000 miles in excess of what was listed, the boogers, and the crumbs. We worked out a fair deal, and informed them we wanted to tag the vehicle in Oklahoma (I am active Duty)...they informed us it would not be an issue. We filled out the papers, got a financed through the dealer, and left. That was in June. By September we still did not have a tag, so we inquired with the dealer. They were rude, shady, and had zero desire to make the paperwork correct. They sent all of the paper to Colorado even after explaining my situation, and giving them all of the paperwork for Oklahoma. By October still no tag. I had to get my base law office involved in order to force the company into refiling our paperwork. They also claimed they would no longer finance me since I wanted to register in Oklahoma. I finally got my tag in December, along with a new loan from USAA. I will never recommend this dealer. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! More

Me and my wife went in with our approval we were greeted by the sales person if had spoke with on the phone then quickly pushed off onto another sales person we told him about our own financing also that we were looking for a car with incentaves to absorb our negative equity and how we didn't want to use any other finance company and right away he expressed his dislike for our financing company because of the limits they put on the dealership he said "it squeezes all the profit out of the deal for the sails person and dealer and there would be no room for negative equity " we should have left at that moment but we then told him what we were looking for he then said you would be better in a different vehicle ignoring what my wife and I were looking for finally he convinced my wife that a certain vehicle then started to try to make the financing work he finally pushed us off to a different sales person who convened me that he would be able to get a better rate and better deal threw Chrysler finance he also promised me that they would only try once threw Chrysler I should have known that was a lie thy ended up running my credit 4 times that night then 6 more time over the next few days after that but back to that night they came back and tried to convince us there approval was better then ours it was at a higher interest rate then mine a higher payment then mine longer term then mine and required a down payment mine did not so how was that a better loan the. To make things worse they tried to push the deal with out letting us test drive the car who would do this I do know anyone in there right mind who would buy a car without driving it and who would use a loan that is worse then the loan that they already are approved for More
Communication among departments is lacking. Bought car on Sat; Called service Mon, made apt for included Detail. Took car in night before(Wed) since apt for 1st thing in the morning; was told detailing w on Sat; Called service Mon, made apt for included Detail. Took car in night before(Wed) since apt for 1st thing in the morning; was told detailing would take most of the day; got call next day(thurs) 4:30pm could not do detail due to weather. Andy told me that they would need to keep car for a while to let the carpet dry and that it was too cold right now. Got call Friday to come in "for a better deal". Another trip to resign financials. Made another apt for Detailing; took car in the afternoon before apt; Got a call a few hours later that the detailer was slammed and could not get to my car that day(which is fine cuz my apt was for the next day). Miraculously my car was done by 10:30 the day of the apt. Apparently, car is not needed overnight, carpets can dry(or not get done) in 3 hours; and the coffee stain will not come off the roof of the interior. So after 6 trips to the dealer, I am finally done. Do not think we will buy another vehicle here. I did not know I would have to write into the deal to get an owner's manual and 2 consistently working keys, but hey I did not have to pay for the detailing. More

I just got back from this service department and have to say I did not leave a satisfied customer! Yesterday I called and scheduled for my car to go in and when I got there today there was nothing even writ say I did not leave a satisfied customer! Yesterday I called and scheduled for my car to go in and when I got there today there was nothing even written down about my appointment!! I walk in and no one is even acknowledging us to let me know that the appointment I made yesterday apparently wasn't important enough to even write down. (I wish I had the name of the person I spoke with). Takes an hour for oil change, tire rotation, and new air filter, this is just fine. However when I get back into my car after everything is done there is a giant grease stain in my car in the shape of some technicians footprint!! Also usually they'll run my car through the wash real quick and that sure didn't happen either...customer service skills at this place severely lacking More
