On Saturday July 3, 2021, I contacted the dealer and spoke to sales representative Ryan McCann and requested information on a vehicle I was highly interested in . I asked about numbers to purchase and also a possible trade in. After various phone calls back and forth Ryan McCann worked numbers out for the purchase as well as for the trade in. I was in agreement with the numbers and asked what they needed from me to lock in the deal. Keeping in mind that I was calling from Illinois and was going to drive out to pick up the car he knew the importance of securing the deal before the long weekend (4th of July). Ryan McCann said it was simple all they needed was a security non refundable deposit of $1,500.00 an online credit application and a sales menu. I told Ryan McCann that I would pay the deposit and work on the online credit application. Ryan McCann directed me to the sales manager Tommie Poole Jr, and he sent me a Sales Menu and Ryan McCann sent me the online credit application. I filed everything out and sent it to Ryan McCann immediately. That being said the dealer RAN MY CREDIT, because I was the purchaser for the vehicle. I was told by Ryan McCann that I was Pre-approved. I also signed the sales menu that the sales manager Tommie Poole Jr. sent to me on Saturday July 3rd, the same day I inquired about the vehicle, all of this was sent around 4:35PM Colorado Time. After sending over the credit application and my credit being ran I was contacting Ryan McCann and texting him in regards to the deposit and his last communication to several hours after I was trying to reach him on Saturday July 3,2021 was that he was out of the office already and that he would call me first thing Monday morning July 5th so I can make the non refundable deposit for the vehicle. I would like to emphasize that I had already sent to Tommie Poole Jr. the SIGNED sales menu and my credit had already been RUN and I was PRE APPROVED for the vehicle. The dealer did not receive my $1,500.00 non-refundable deposit because Ryan McCann left the dealer knowing that I was PRE- APPROVED and did not get back to me in regards to taking my payment information and he texted saying he would call me on Monday July 5th first thing in the morning. As a HONEST person, I took Ryan McCann’s words, that he would call me first thing on Monday July 5th 2021 and take my deposit payment. On Monday July 5th, 2021 I received a phone call from Ryan McCann to let me know that the vehicle that my credit was ran for, already PRE-APPROVED and I had already signed a Sales Menu that it had been just SOLD. What kind of dishonest way of doing business is this? Was this a joke? How could this dealer run a credit have a pre-approval and a signed sales menu and sell the car to another buyer that day within less than an hour of the dealer being opened? I asked to speak to a General Manager, I am still waiting on that phone call ( it never happened) The General Manager name is Laura Caselli, she still has not given me a call back. I had no other option then to speak to the Sales Manager Tommie Poole Jr, and he had no respect what so ever. Did not even try to make the situation better. That he was sorry and that he couldn’t do anything. So now, after my credit was ran, I signed a sales menu and I am pre-approved for a vehicle, the dealer decides to sell and now all they can say is “Im Sorry, I can’t do anything”. This is totally unacceptable because I am now jeopardized because my credit was ran and this will appear on my credit and the ONLY reason why I ran my credit was to purchase the vehicle not to have the dealer sell the car I was pre-approved for. As a business owner, all I can say is please stay away from this dealer. My experience was not good at all. It is very unfortunate that they were not able to do anything about their dishonest way of doing business. More

TOOK CAR From the financing to service department. RIP OFF. PURCHASED 2015 CHEVY TRAVERSE 3/20 WITH 87,620 MILES. DUE TO COVID ONLY PUT 90,000 MILES. TOOK CAR BACK DUE TO SENSOR PROBLEM AND ASKED SERVICE TO CHECK SHAKY ON DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE CAR. SERVICE DEPARTMENT STATES I NEED NEW BRAKES DUE TO SHOES BEING WARP. ADVISED SERVICE DEPARTMENT I PURCHASED THE CAR FROM THEM AND DUE TO THE LOW MILEGE THIS HAD TO BE A PROBLEM WHEN CAR WAS SOLD TO ME. WHEN I REQUESTED A COPY OF PRE SALE INSPECTION WAS TOLD THEY DON'T HAVE A COPY OF IT AND SALES MGR REFUSES TO PAY FOR REPAIRS. NOT TO MENTION OVER PRICE WARRANTY THAT DOES NOT COVER BRAKES. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH FINANCING WITH THEM-AGREED ON PRICE OF CAR AND DOWNPAYMENT. PAID DOWNPAYMENT AND SIGNED FINANCING PAPER. AFTER DRIVING THE CAR FOR WEEK, FINANCE GUY CALLS AND STATES HE FOUND ANOTHER BANK TO FINANCE ME AND NEEDS MORE $$$$ FOR DOWNPAYMENT. WHEN I QUESTIONED HIM CONCERNING THIS MATTER, HE THROWS IN USELESS OVERPRICE WARRANTY FOR THE "CONFUSION". I HAVE SPENT THE LAST 4 HOURS TO REACH SOMEONE, OTHER THAN AUTONATION'S ANSWERING MACHINE, TO DISCUSS THIS MATTER TO NO AVAIL. IS IT BECAUSE I AM A WOMAN, AND/OR, WOMAN OF COLOR THAT I RECEIVED SUCH HORRIBLE SERVICE. PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO I CAN WARN FAMILY AND FRIENDS. More

The salesman knew from the get go that I needed navigation on the infotainment system in the car I was getting. I told him that I needed navigation since I had just moved here and didn’t quite know my way around. He said to me several times that the car had it “built into the radio” and the ad for the vehicle online said it had navigation. The salesman told me all I had to do was install an app on my phone and it would give me access to the navigation system. After buying the car and getting it home I discovered that it does not have navigation. I informed the salesman and he said he would do some research to figure it out. I kept asking him every day, several times a day what he found out and he was giving me vague answers like “I am waiting on my GMC rep to get back to me” or “I am getting different stories from different people.” They deliberately waited until AFTER the 5 day return period on the vehicle to tell me that the car didn’t have navigation and that the only option was to pay a monthly fee to On Star for them to tell me over the phone which turns to take. The salesman I talked to about the issue said that it is way too expensive to put it into the car and if the car had navigation that the price of the car would have reflected that, which proves that they knew all along that it didn't have navigation. He then said that he did not intentionally sway me to buy the vehicle... If I knew that it did not have navigation I would have not bought the car and if they had told me when I questioned it the first time I would have returned the vehicle. But now I am stuck with it. I called several times and pushed the prompt for the manager and it wouldn’t connect me. I then called the sales department and asked for the manager and the salesman that answered was the one that sold me the car. I asked to speak to his manager but he would not connect me to him. I would also like to add that when I first agreed to purchase the vehicle (when I was still under the impression that the vehicle had navigation) the price was $5400 which rounded out to about $218 a month. Then when I went to sign paperwork they had decided to add on a warranty they never discussed with me that was $3900 so the ending price for the car was $10,000 after taxes and fees. They said the only way the bank would approve me was to add that warranty because the car was not brand new. The price per month went up to $350 a month with a longer contract and I told him that I could not afford that. He left to “run the numbers again” and came back with the price down to $259 With an even longer contract and said that’s the best that he could do and that he was already losing $2,000 on me, making me feel guilty and acting like I was causing him a bunch of issues, while being extremely rude and condescending. I finally agreed because I needed to get into a new car and at that point I had been at the dealership for 6 hours and he said my credit had already been effected and was insinuating that if I kept looking that my credit would tank even more. I have to say if you want to buy a car from them, which I do NOT condone in the slightest, make sure you know exactly what the vehicle has and make sure you know the actual price when you agree to buy the car. They are shady people who try to make you feel like xxxx about yourself when you say you can’t afford something and lie to get you into a car that they know doesn’t fit your needs. I am very disappointed and frustrated that they think this is ok. More
