THANK YOU Mike O. and Billy!! I have to start my review by saying car buying is one of the most stressful things a person can do. I found my vehicle on the dealerships website and I have to start my review by saying car buying is one of the most stressful things a person can do. I found my vehicle on the dealerships website and proceeded to call to make sure it was still there. My salesperson was Mike O. He handled me with professionalism from our first meeting until my delivery. The dealership is stocked with late model luxury vehicles. The vehicles on the showroom floor are labeled with signs not to touch or sit inside but that should be expected when you have a lot of people in the showroom and $50,000+ vehicles within reach. The vehicle I ended up purchasing was a 2012 Mini Cooper. I did my research BEFORE I went to the dealer. I knew what I should expect to pay, what came standard with the vehicle, and what my credit score was. Dealing with Mike O. was the best car buying experience I have had. In my mid forties I have purchased over 13 vehicles and this my the least painful experience by far. While I was at the dealership I had the chance to overhear some of the other conversations between customers and salespeople and I would say there is some customer service training needed for some. Bottom line, do your homework. If they have the vehicle you want at a price you believe is fair, set up an appointment with Mike O. Billy in finance is also extremely knowledgeable and experienced. It is a great dealership to purchase a late model luxury vehicle still under warranty. My MINI was delivered to me within hours of the registry and insurance agents opening on Monday and I had zero issues with any of the procedures, paperwork, or personnel. More
Horrible Experience! Shady business going on here. I'm not sure if it was the 'ol bait and switch or just plain laziness, but something just isn't right with how these guy Shady business going on here. I drove out there from Boston to look at an amazing deal I saw on their website on a Honda CR-V. I was told they couldn't find the car. (How does one misplace an SUV?!?). I was then asked if I was prepared to buy today "if" they could find the car. I told him probably not, as there is one more model I want to test drive before I make my final decision. After that, his entire demeanor changed. He told me "we" were wasting "our" time, and that I should come back when I figure out what I want. So basically, he decided I was wasting his time because I didn't have my wallet open that very day. At that point I was weary of doing business with them anyways. I'm not going to mention his name, as I realize everyone has bad days and perhaps this was just one of his, but this sales guy was totally unprofessional, checking his phone and texting as we were having a conversation at his desk. Not to mention, this place actually has signs on the showroom cars saying "Please do not touch or sit in the cars". I thought it was a joke at first, honestly. I mean, isn't that the point of coming to a showroom? I've been to many dealerships in the past month, and have never seen one that cared less about their customers. More
worst experience i went in test rode a couple cars , then i had them take a look at my car for a trade . at that point they offered me $11500 for my car so i got the i went in test rode a couple cars , then i had them take a look at my car for a trade . at that point they offered me $11500 for my car so i got the purchase and sales agreement . i returned 2 days later with a bank check to pay for the car , and was told they only had 1 key and i would have to purchase a 2nd , was not happy but said ok. then i was told they needed to look at my car again and took it around back . i was then approched by service manager saying he could only give me $10,000 for my car $1500. less than what the original deal said .take it or leave it!!(i had already got a bank check for the amt of the original deal ) this service manager was rude and a jerk . he also told me my check engine light was on . ( it was not on before they took it around back ). so this auto dealer makes a deal then tries to screw you by tripping the check engine light ( which can be done in a variety of different ways because of thr computer in cars ) and then offers you less on your trade . I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE !! WHAT A WASTE OF YOUR TIME IT WAS , i just walked out More
After doing an exhausting amount of research I finally found a vehicle that was well priced and went to test drive it. After a very warm welcome from the gentlemen at the front desk I was greeted by Luis to whom I have never spoken but right away felt as if we had spoken for the past couple days. Very good experience very knowledgeable and the financing department did nothing but make sure I was completely satisfied Thank you Dave. This place was very busy but I got all the attention I needed and I did not have to spend the whole day there to get everything done. I will definitely be back when the time comes. More
Robbie Shaw, answered the phone when I called to inquire about a listing, he was extremely friendly, and had a great knowledge of the vehicle I was interested in. We scheduled a time for me to come in and look at the vehicle meeting him in person he was very friendly, and I was impressed how he handled the sale, It was a very busy day at the dealership and he made sure to take the time to answer my questions and get me a test drive. Once all the details were set, I moved on to Financing when I met Dave Kerr, he was very helpful ,and in the end worked hard to get me the best financing plan that worked with my budget at the lowest APR.. I am very happy with the deal I got on my BMW and recommend to anyone looking to buy a quality used vehicle to see Robbie or any of the other sales reps at Automax Preowned.. One last thought.. although I purchased the vehicle I first looked at.. the vast selection of other quality vehicles was distracting. More
My husband and I went to Automax in Framingham on Friday. When we first got there, we kind of walked around the lot a little to just check out what they had. All of their cars looked great. We already had an idea of what we wanted to we went in and found a salesman. We dealt with John, and he was wonderful. Super nice, and not pushy like some care salesmen I have dealt with. We ended up buying the car we looked at which was as close to brand new as you could possibly get. He helped us with the whole process, which included having the General Manager, Mike, get us a much better deal on a loan than what we had been pre-approved for. Also, really short process, we signed the paperwork on Friday and we were able to drive off with the car all registered and everything on Saturday morning. All around great experience and I would highly recommend them. More
Just like I gave the review for the Marlboro location here is the one for Framingham. HORRIBLE experience. Cutthroat dishonest and has no loyalty to each other. They throw each location under the bus and promise to offer you better options at "their" location. We'll it messed up our approval and when THEY mess up they do not call you back. They hide like children and put each other down and don't even offer a solution. We had to go down there to talk to the one who messed up everything. (Al at the Marlboro office)All I wanted was a more reliable vehicle and was told we were approved (by mike at the Framingham location)and because they are dishonest and sleezy they pissed off the bank because they don't know obviously what the xxxx they are doing. Thank god I now know what kind of place they are. I ran the claim history and a few of the vehicles and they were in 18k accidents but don't worry they WONT tell you that. I had to show them the report once they told me that the vehicle was in a tiny fender bender.... Ok whatever so anyways to sum up my review stay away they lie they only care about money not you I will report this on every single website and like I said a complaint to the BBB for lying to us and making us stress for a whole week only to be told they messed up the whole process because they were so deceitful.... I would like to thank Mr. Jessie, Mr. Shaw, Mr. Rowe, and Mr. McDonald for helping me get my HHR, working relentlessly to get me into the right car. Here is where that saying "What goes around comes around," while buying this car, There were two women who told me that the car will not last, I am making a mistake, on and on and on. I did not listen, and have been delighted ever since. The only thing my HHR needed was a battery and has been running dependably ever since, jus the other day I drove to New York and back. The same two women's car has been giving them more problems than my wonderful HHR. They call to ask me for help and in my mind I am smiling. These men were restrained and acted professionally, much better than I would have. So I could say much more, but it would be too long. Go ahead and get that car at a great price and see what I have been talking about. More
This dealership is so unorganized and they do not keep you posted when your car is in there for work they had my car for about three weeks they called me once in the beginning.
