Thought it was a good experience Bought car had on road not two weeks. Check engine light and another warning light came on. They told me nothing they could do except schedule an appointment with their tech I would be responsible for repair even though car was less than 30 days old (85miles too). They were going to call me back with next available appointment. That was over a week ago. They treated me nice right up until we exchanged the money then I guess I was just another customer! Buyer beware! Dishonest dealer, owner is a duplicitous liar Owner sold me a lemon car, with its steering shaft and timing belt needing to be replaced, the first being a safety hazard. I called him this morning, Owner sold me a lemon car, with its steering shaft and timing belt needing to be replaced, the first being a safety hazard. I called him this morning, seventh from the day of purchase, and told him that I had car inspected by a mechanic at a Toyota dealership, and gave him the list of issues found by the said mechanic. Fagan, always rude and agitated, told me over the phone that he was "too busy", and that I could bring the car back to his dealership for a refund, then he rudely hung up the phone without getting my response. After spending more than an hour driving up there with a friend, (I live in Providence), Fagan refused to refund the money, contriving the story of me telling him over the phone that I had the car registered and it failed safety inspection, which I never did. What I said on the phone was that I had the car checked out by a mechanic at Toyota dealership, I never said anything about having the car registered, as he didn't send me the original title until yesterday, leaving me with only one day to register the car to meet the 7 day return period, as stipulated by the state's lemon law. Fagan also told me that after selling more than fifty thousand cars, he knows the law better than me, as if taking pride in his skill of utilizing all the legal nooks and crannies to screw his customers, not on merit, but on technicality. Realizing what type of person I was dealing with, I immediately called 911 to reported the incident. While waiting for the police to show up, I saw hanging on the wall of the dealership office was its business license, expired in 2008! (see one of the attached pictures) Was Fagan too lazy to hangup a valid business license, or has his dealership been operating illegally for the past ten years?!! The police officer showed up and suggested that I report Fagan to the Mass Attorney General's Office, which I did tonight. On the after of 1/17, I brought the car to a inspection station in RI, and it failed safety inspection. More
