I went to this dealership b/c they put down 17,200 in a newspaper advertisement 2 times for the 2011 Nissan Rogue. Sure, I knew that was for the base model with FWD but I figured that the next option, which is the base model with AWD would be about $1300 more, so I figured, hey, let's try and ask for 18,500 BASED ON THE ADVERTISEMENT. They were completely unwilling to do this. Then, I show them the truecar price quote for the car, which is around 20,100. They were willing to take this offer but not a dollar below even though a couple of other dealerships(who had no advertisements) were willing to be a bit more flexible and let down the price a little bit below the quoted price on truecar. These are the biggest crooks. Russian sales manager, Alex Levkovitch even admitted to us that the newspaper advertisement is a way to get people to come in, then they sucker people into paying higher prices than they normally would. This is a very deceptive, yet legal strategy. They got some fast talk sales managers who try to confuse the hell out of you but in the end, they fall way short of what they advertise. Then, when we left, they didn't care, they just let us leave without asking us back. They knew we were too smart for them and they knew that we caught on to their games. That's okay, they will get plenty of bad advertising from me for a long time to anybody that I come in contact with. Arlington Nissan is full of false advertising and false hopes. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. You've been forewarned. If you put in an advertisement, you expect the dealership to honor it, not screw around. By the way, they don't include the added destination fees in their small print. This fleet manager was trying to tell me that the 17,200 didn't include destination fees and he couldn't show me where it was on the ad. Frikin crooks. More
I brought bu 2010 Maxima in because the brakes failed to stop the car. This happened twice - it did not happen every time I tried to stop. It would slow the car down to 3 MPH and then it would not stop un stop the car. This happened twice - it did not happen every time I tried to stop. It would slow the car down to 3 MPH and then it would not stop until I put it in park. All the dealer is willing to do is run their diagnostics. I expect more from a dealer - they should do whatever they have to do to fix the problem, not just to fix the problem efficiently. I will nevger trust Arlington Nissan again - and I currently own 2 card from there. More

I took my new 2011 Nissan Murano that I did not purchase from this dealer. They happen to be one of the closer dealers to my home. I needed an adjustment to one of the settings with the auto door locking s from this dealer. They happen to be one of the closer dealers to my home. I needed an adjustment to one of the settings with the auto door locking system. The dealer I purchased the car from was unable to help me and told me what I was asking for could not be done. I saw on a blog that it could be done and Rob took the time to see if he could help me with my request. I was also under a time crunch but Rob said it would not be a problem. Within a half hour I had my adjustment fixed and even a car was too. Rob was outstanding to talk and work with. After this first encounter with the service department I am sold and will not take my car anywhere else. I was also talking with the other service writers and they were very friendly as well. I felt very at ease there. If you need service I give this team 5 stars. More
I bought a new Pathfinder from Luis over the Internet and had the most pleasan car buying experience ever. Since I was out of town for a week, I went in the following one to buy the vehicle I had been emailing Luis back and forth on turns out they sold it a few days before before going on vacation. He went a head and put my order in for one just like the one I wanted and the vehicle was at the dealership within a few hours. It just goes to show you that they would go the extra mile just to earn your business and I highly recommend doing business with them. I have bought many cars over the years and this was the easies hassle free car buying experience I have ever had. Thank you Luis. More
I went to several Nissan dealers in the Chicago area looking for a good deal on a new Altima. I was treated very badly at the store in Schaumburg and Crystal Lake. I was about to give up on shopping for a Nissan and just buy something else. I decided to give it one last shot at Arlington Nissan. It's a Bob Rohrman store and I've seen his commercials forever since I grew up in Algonquin. I figured maybe his store had some half way competent employees. I was greeted by a man named Ronnie Brazier. He had a very positive attitude and took his time and listened to exactly what I wanted. We test drove the Altima one last time and then he brought me the figures. To my surprise he gave me a great price right off the bat. No negotiating. It was a little higher than I thought I could haggle him down to, but I paid a couple hundred dollars more for Ronnie's great service. It took a little bit of time to get the paperwork and the car ready. While I was waiting the GM of the store AC Hengler came out and introduced himself and gave me a tour of the service area. He also gave me my first oil change for free. Dan Fitzsimmons did my paperwork for me and fully explained everything to me so I could understand it all. This took a little bit of a long time. It's the only thing that I would say they need to work on. Overall, I score it the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Definitely go see Ronnie if you ever want to buy a Nissan. More

To the General Manager of Arlington Nissan, I wanted to take a minute to explain that I had a very pleasant experience at your facility yesterday. I purchased my car there approximately 6 years ago and have had it serviced routinely at your dealership. I have had a variety of experiences during those years, ranging from average to pretty good. Yesterday was better than any other time. I want to compliment the time that your Service Manager Rob Hayward took with me. I did not have any specific need, I just needed a quick oil change and was there for my appointment. I pulled in at a busy time, all of your service attendants were busy helping others or on the phone. Rob must have saw me looking around. He came and greeted me and processed my service. Something I did not expect as I am sure that he has other managerial responsibilities and I have never been helped or greeted by any other service manager in the past. What was different this time from my other experiences is the he was friendly and attentive. He took the time to double check my demographic information and make sure to get my cell phone and email address. I have been to your place at least 25 times and no one has ever bothered to put my cell phone into your database, yet they have to ask it every time to make sure they can get in touch with me during the service. Similarly, he made sure to get my email address into your system. I have routinely asked to be put in there as I wanted to be notified of specials going on. Some said they have tried, but he took the time to put it in the database without my request. We chatted about technology and he continued to explain that he is working hard to train his staff and that the texting initiative is really a good step for you and your business. I am in the software business. I understand the need for a good customer database. Rob understands it also. Throughout my visit we had two or three good interactions. He made me feel welcomed and appreciated, something I had often missed during my 25 – 30 visits there. All I was there for was a simple oil change, not a traveler broken down or a regular customer with a huge service need. Yet, his attitude made a difference for me. I had vowed to always have my car dealer serviced after I bought it. It is not convenient for me as it is about 15 minutes in the wrong direction from my normal travels. And lately I had been toying with the idea of having it serviced at another dealer or even at a regular shop. Because of my experience with Rob yesterday, I have stopped looking and I will be returning to Arlington Nissan for my service. I know changing staff is often a difficult move. If Rob trains his staff to interact with customers like he did with me yesterday, making him your new service manager was a great switch. More
This dealership was the first one we went to when looking for a new car. They had a number of cars in stock in the model we wanted, but when we told them we were looking for a lower version of the vehicle i for a new car. They had a number of cars in stock in the model we wanted, but when we told them we were looking for a lower version of the vehicle in question they told us what we were looking for didn't exist. We had already done some research and knew that what we wanted did, in fact, exist. When we asked them to give us a price on something comparable to what we were looking for, they quoted a price more than $3,000 higher than our research indicated was appropriate. They were very sleazy and I would not recommend them to anyone. Go to Mid City Nissan in Chicago instead. They were wonderful. More

Bought a vehicle on 7/8/09 and the sales lady (Angie Gluc), very nice service BTW helped me find what I thought was a reasonable car, a Nissan Altima 2002 with only 88k miles at the time. I test drove i Gluc), very nice service BTW helped me find what I thought was a reasonable car, a Nissan Altima 2002 with only 88k miles at the time. I test drove it (drove perfectly) and got back to finalize the deal. We did; at a price I thought was reasonable. At the time of purchase, the sales girl, finance dept. and the sales manager had reassured me that the car came with a 90 day warranty so if there were any latent defects that they would be covered. After I left the dealership, drove away and got home happy thinking I got a great deal. Drove it another 70 miles and noticed the 'service engine soon' light came up. Took time off work that day and went there only to find out that a) the catalytic converter is bad b) the 90 day warranty doesnot cover anything (only temporarily turns off the check engine light) So I got a quote on how much it'll cost me to fix it... appx. $800 on a car I just bought less than 5 days ago. Without a fight, I walk out and drove home with the 'service engine soon' light staring at me the whole way..reminding me that it's because of places like Arlington Nissan, a person becomes so skeptical when it comes to trusting any business' out there. I will continue to drive the car with a bad catalytic converter and hope that someday, they mandate a law against this because due to one business' bad practices the enviroment should not have to suffer.
