I recently had a very disappointing experience with Andy Mohr Kia. My wife and I drove two hours each way specifically to look at a Kia Telluride Prestige X-Line in white with a terracotta interior. We wer Mohr Kia. My wife and I drove two hours each way specifically to look at a Kia Telluride Prestige X-Line in white with a terracotta interior. We were especially excited to find the terracotta color, which is not easy to locate. When we arrived, Seth brought us out to the vehicle and opened the door—and what we saw was shocking. The car was in extremely poor condition. There was gum stuck to the carpet, dried leaves on the floor, and the middle row was filthy. We even found a child’s sock, a knit cap, and other clothing left inside. I joked to my wife that it looked like squatters had been living in the car. The rear area was just as dirty. What made the situation worse was that nothing was said by the salesperson as we looked over the vehicle. There was no acknowledgment or apology for the condition. In my opinion, any salesperson should inspect a vehicle before showing it to a potential buyer—especially at a large dealership like this.I had inquired about how long the car had been on the lot and was told 2 weeks. I expressed that it was disappointing to lose a potential sale over something so preventable. The manager then offered to have the vehicle detailed if we purchased it. They also offered a $258 reduction in price and said they could have it detailed in about an hour. But that raises an obvious question—if it only takes an hour to detail, and they knew we were driving two hours to get there, why wasn’t the vehicle prepared ahead of time? By that point, it was already around 7 PM, and we still had a two-hour drive home. After a four-hour round trip and seeing the vehicle in that condition, we were no longer comfortable moving forward. I expected much more from a dealership of this size and reputation. This experience showed a lack of preparation and respect for a customer’s time. More

He told me that if I was still interested, the car would be mine through Monday. That gesture meant so much to me because there was absolutely no pressure—just genuine customer service and understanding. After taking the weekend to think it over, I came back on Monday and purchased the car. I couldn’t be happier with my Kia K5 GT-Line and the experience I had with the team.
