Do not go here! My house burned down in July along with my car. I bought a new car but it wasn't what I needed, so I traded it in at AMS. They were happy to take my trade and my money even though I didn't my car. I bought a new car but it wasn't what I needed, so I traded it in at AMS. They were happy to take my trade and my money even though I didn't have the title for the car I'd just purchased yet and they knew that. Now, however, even though they already sold my trade, filed for a lost title, and have all the money for the trade and $20,000 for the truck I purchased they are holding the title for the truck hostage and will not release it. There's nothing I can do to help them retrieve the title for the original trade because they already sold it to someone else and I'm unable to use the 20k truck I bought from them because I cannot register it without a title. At this point the title issue is between AMS, the state, and the buyer who purchased the trade. I have nothing to do with it now, but despite that fact, they're continuing to refuse to release my title for the truck. When my husband called to resolve this issue the manager, Sam was belligerent and cursed at him! Nice way to treat paying customers that have been through a horrible tragedy. Now I'm forced to retain a lawyer to get a title for a truck I payed for in full, along with reimbursement of all legal fees I incur in doing so. More
