I have purchased quite a few vehicles here. Each time, I was treated well, given a fair price, and I have had great experiences with the service department. I don't buy strictly based on price, if a dealer was treated well, given a fair price, and I have had great experiences with the service department. I don't buy strictly based on price, if a dealer can't make a profit, they can't service you after the sale. They are a well rounded, mega-dealer who tries hard to treat everyone well. Everyone makes mistakes, it's how they are managed is what counts. More
I have purchased the Cadillac CTS 2011 and this is the sixth vehicle (2 trucks and 4 cars) I've purchased from Cochran in the last 6 or 7 years. I believe the vehicles are priced fairly. The sales and s sixth vehicle (2 trucks and 4 cars) I've purchased from Cochran in the last 6 or 7 years. I believe the vehicles are priced fairly. The sales and service people have very good product knowledge. The after purchase "service" is very good in terms of attention to detail. More
I went in July 2005 to look for a 4WD or AWD vehicle at #1Cochran because I was traveling far for work at the time. I test drove a 2005 AWD Buick Rendezvous. I absolutely loved it. Went back the next day #1Cochran because I was traveling far for work at the time. I test drove a 2005 AWD Buick Rendezvous. I absolutely loved it. Went back the next day to finance it (with being young when I got my previous car, my mom was part owner on what I was trading in, 2002 Honda Civic, so she had to sign off on it). Took it home the Buick home with no complaints until last winter when I got stuck in the snow. Wasn't deep snow my husband had no problems in his SUV but I got stuck which really scared me. So I started looking for something that might be better in the snow. Found a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The dealer pulled the VIN# to appraise the Buick to trade it in and (here's where the nightmare comes in) he told me that the vehicle was front wheel drive NOT AWD. My mouth and heart hit the floor. How could someone do this and get away with it? You expect when you test drive a car and say that is the one you want and you'll be back tomorrow that that is the one you get. So now I'm stuck with a FWD vehicle that stinks in the snow and has so much negative equity I can't even trade it in. I've had to get a second job just to get some of the negative equity paid down so I can trade it in. My FWD Civic did better in the snow then it. I called Buick and they told me I had to deal with #1 Cochran. #1 Cochran won't return my phone calls (big surprise). Since I've learned about the vehicle I actually learned that I am not the only one #1 Cochran did this to. So please be aware DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Go somewhere else. More
