Second and last time I go to this dealer. I bought a 2022 Dodge, but not from them so maybe that's why they acted this way but I have a feeling it's their standard operating behavior. First visit was to get a key FOB programmed for the new truck. First thing out of Jonny's mouth was, well it's about lunchtime so,.... I asked to see an IT or technical person and without asking why I came in, Jonny said you need an appointment. I set that appointment up for today. I came in and went to Jonny who told me that he moved my appointment to another clerk, who was clueless why I was transferred to her from the clerk who setup my appointment. I went to this other clerk who couldn't find my info because Jonny took my initial info. She agreed to assist me (although she too was ready to head to lunch, apparently a huge deal at this dealership) and asked why I was there. I said Jonny didn't bother to ask or document why I came in initially. I then told her I would like to get my new FOB programmed to the new truck. She proceeded to tell me that it would cost me $200 to program a $57 FOB. I declined that ridiculous charge and then asked about a repair to the front bumper skirt that had come apart at one place. She told me that would cost $200 (1 hour labor) and when I asked how they would fix it, she told me they TY Wrap the shirt to the bumper, for $200. TY Wraps last? It's apparent these knuckleheads just want to rest, pass the buck, and go to lunch. Never going back there. I would rate Johnny but I don't see him below. Might be a sign...
I had been looking for Mazda CX-30 for over a month and I finally found one at Cole Chrysler, Dodge Jeep. It was a great deal this car had been at the dealership over 99 days and the price dropped tremendously so I put my request in and immediately someone contacted me Joe a salesman we had been communicating for a week and I like in Citrus Heights I asked if the car could be de delivered but it was a bit expensive $1,000 so I let him know I would see what I could do. By this time I filled out my credit application and sent my paystubs to the finance manager, I was approved and ready to get all paperwork completed. I finally got Amtrak tickets for Tuesday 4/18/23 and reserved a hotel to stay the night and we would drive back on Wednesday 4/19/23. So I emailed Joe and let him know my plans. Monday afternoon 3:30 or so while I was working Joe left me a voice message sorry the vehicle has been SOLD!! He states he so sorry and here’s another vehicle you might like a Honda CRV, that’s not even the vehicle I was looking at so no I was happy about that. I didn’t get to check my messages until I was off work at 5:00 pm and I was just sick to my stomach and so upset I called him back and let him know I can’t believe that this happened and is this how you treat your customers well you didn’t put down a deposit and I said you didn’t ask for one or I would have. Oh and it was a local person What does that have to do with anything who cares. All they could say was sorry not good enough. I don’t recommend this dealership to anyone. I got my train ticket money refunded but not my hotel.
I am having a problem with my Jeep Wrangler regarding the computer, software and communication. My service advisor is Tony Padilla. He has been working over and above for me working with AJ the service technician and calling the factory super service help line to get things resolved for me. A very complex matter. He's got my full confidence. Very professional.
I bought a Toyota Tacoma from Mike last week. I've been driving it around now and like it even more after getting to know it. Mike is just the most honest and ethical guy I've met in any business. He's great! He's always been there for me.
Thanks to Stewart. He picked me up at my work in Atascadero to help me pick up my car in service. He went over and beyond for me. But Stewart, you could use a little hair cut. Kidding!!
I was having a smog performed at Cole Chrysler and I got to hang out there for about an hour. I got to observe a lot of really nice people at work. I wish I got to work with such nice people who clearly enjoy their jobs and work. My boss at work is problematic, and I'm self-employed. I really like Jodi. Any girl that likes to fish is my kind of woman.
