In 2018 My sister Marie of Thermopolis purchased a Toyota Highlander from Fremont Motors. In August of 2023, she passed away. I flew from Maine to deal with her estate. Her Toyota had been meticulously maintained by the service department at Fremont. My sister had no children, but she was much beloved by her nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. It was decided that the Toyota would be preserved and passed on, hopefully to whomever chose to follow her example as a nurse. I drove the Toyota to Maine and keep it for the most part garaged. Recently I needed to establish a baseline maintenance record and contacted. Chelsea Laird of Fremont Motors in Lander. She compiled the records and e-mailed them to me along with a very nice comment of condolence. I've never been to Lander Wyoming. I barely know anyone in Wyoming. There was absolutely no chance that I would be a potential customer. Why did they go through the trouble? They did it because it's the kind and decent and professional thing to do. A good auto dealer takes care of their customers for profit. A great auto dealer goes beyond that. I suppose that's why they have been in business so long. Thank you so very much.
