What Others Say

Extremely poor experience at Huntington Beach Mazda in regards to finalizing pricing terms on a new CX-50 that I had serious interest in purchasing. While the sales team of Eric, Vu, and George were amazing to work with on test drives, etc., the sales/floor manager, the finance manager, the dealer ownership and ultimately Mazda Corporate were deceitfully on pricing terms, lied to me and then showed zero serious interest in making it right to close a deal. I strongly recommend all car buying consumers to avoid this Mazda Patterson dealership and the Mazda brand in general and consider purchasing a Honda or Toyota in the same car class that interests you.

The staff was very friendly. My sales agent Joe was really awesome! It was a pretty quick process from start to finish. Dan did a great breakdown on the financial side too. Overall, I had a great car buying experience here so I definitely recommend anyone looking for a car to come here 😄

We just purchased a 2025 Mazda CS 50 Hybrid from Huntington Beach Mazda, and had the pleasure of working with a young salesman, Manny A. Camacho. He was incredibly knowledgeable and well-informed about the car and all of its features. He explained everything clearly and confidently, answering all of our questions with ease. What stood out the most was his professionalism - he was well spoken, articulate and had a no-pressure approach to sales. We felt an immediate connection with him even though we are decades apart in age. He made us feel comfortable and respected throughout the entire process. It was clear that he had our best interests in mind, and we truly felt he gave us the best deal possible. The entire experience - from internet inquiry to the test drive, to the final paperwork (thank you Veronica) was smooth and stress-free. We would not hesitate to recommend Manny to others and we hope the dealership knows what a standout team member they have in him!

Easy and pleasant experience! Eric Magana was so kind and helpful as we were deciding on and purchasing a new used car for our son. He never made us feel rushed or silly for our many safety and maintenance questions! He stayed late to make sure my husband could come test drive the car after work and followed up promptly on all of our questions. Eric is a really great guy! As a woman purchasing a car, sometimes sales people can be condescending or aloof, but not this guy. Great experience, thank you so much!

The dealership is fantastic!!!!! Chris Mendoza of the service department always takes care of our auto needs. My wife had work done there recently, and everything was great. The goes for the entire service dept and entire dealership.

I bought my CX-5 new at HB Mazda, but if you have a Mazda that's out of warranty, think again about having HB Mazda do repairs. I had a CEL and a DTC, and took my CX-5 to HB Mazda where they charged $200 to diagnose, and then said the car has a clogged heater core which they would charge $2,600 to replace... Replacing a heater core in any car with only 50,000 miles on it is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I did a bi-directional flush on the core and found lots of plastic chips that were coming from a deteriorating "plastic" impeller on the water pump. I was astonished to find that Mazda had actually installed a low quality water pump with a plastic impeller in the factory. Now I'm concerned that Mazda might have done other cheap, cost cutting things on this car when they built it, and I'm leery about keeping the car. Anyone who has the same experience can look forward to paying what they quoted me, then, when the water pump goes out completely, due to the cheap plastic impeller, they'll also have to spend another grand to replace the water pump, as well... That's a projected total of $4,000 to have HB Mazda fix this problem. I replaced the water pump myself and the total cost of the repair to me, including HB Mazda's dubious $200 diagnostic fee, was $600, plus six hours of my time. I once thought highly of Mazda, but now I'll never own another one... Mazda and its Service people are seriously Unethical.
