My experience has gone from bad to worse. I needed another routine oil change but also had to fix a few other issues (TPS) so brought it back to the dealership for maintenance. For my mileage there were a handful of recommendations and I agreed to perform all except two. Passenger air cabin filter ($15 OTC) and engine filter ($20 OTC) since they are cheap filters and easy to do oneself. Not sure what happened with the communication but the cabin air filter was replaced for $130. Ouch but whatever. Then going further down I see they even nickel and dime for washer fluid? First off, I top off my reservoir with Rain-X once a month so I know it wasn't needed. I thought I was doing them a favor by letting them know a wash wasn't necessary since I have a LUV membership across the street. I will say after this experience, washing my truck after was more therapeutic and stress relieving than here. Highly doubt I will ever take my truck in again for routine preventative maintenance. Praying I don't have any mechanical issues that require me to bring it back here anytime soon. For over $1230 (with discount) I expect a lot better. Once my money has already been taken all I ever get is "sorry". Guess I need to find a better place to do my coolant fluid exchange soon - recommendations needed!
the WORST dealer ever. The purchase process was ridiculously difficult. They tried every high pressure tactic to add on all kinds of extras, the sales manager was aggressively unhelpful, but worst of all was the service department: the Sierra I purchased was back in for repairs TWICE during the 2 months after the purchase and they tried to deny warranty coverage every time. NEVER trust these people! I sold the truck after 2 months and bought a Toyota Tundra. I lost $10,000 selling and am VERY happy I did.
I really wish there was a zero bit unfortunately 1 was the lowest possible review. My experience with Alexander has been absolutely horrible and shocking at the same time . They prided themselves on customer service so I decided to give them my business I purchased a used 2022 gmc Denali diesel truck I did my inspection and things looked great the assured me that the carfax was clean and there was no issues however I couldn't pick up the car for a couple days because they had to clean it up and do the safety inspection . I should have waited to see the final product but I took their word for it and went ahead with the deal . 30 mins after picking up the truck I noticed that the windshield had a crack in it and called immediately with no response over and over I called and got nowhere I then proceeded to put my first tank of fuel in on day two and realized the rear quarter panel of the truck was scuffed and dented to the tune of 4500$ I called again and still no response from the dealer I'm not exactly sure when this happened if it was during that safety inspection or if it was already there but either way I'm stuck with it now . They still have never called me back and sadly after spending 45000$ on a newer vehicle I never got that warm fussy new car feeling the support has been horrible and my overall experience was completely garbage I would not recommend this dealership to anyone and feel that once they get your money they are done with you factory warranty or certified means nothing to them . They did give me a car to use during the 2 days which was a 2016 vw golf that I drove without insurance or good brakes for two days because they wanted to take my 2020 accord hybrid as a trade in which was odd they just seemed to really want to get the deal signed so were willing to do whatever before the purchase it was after that they could care less about me.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! This was my first and last time leasing a GMC. I leased a new car that began to leak transmission fluid after owning it for a few days. We took the car in to get it fixed and they had it for over a week. When I took it in to get fixed they told me "I think the factory workers were being lazy that day and didn't torque the bolts right". So somehow this car managed to make it through quality control without them catching the defect in the transmission. Due to the car being in the shop for 7 days the dealership set up a rental car but when I arrived there was no rental car available. When I went to speak to my salesperson (Jeron) about my concerns he walked in the office smelling of marijuana, not to mention when my salesperson (Jeron) was selling me the car he was cursing profusely in front of my two small children. When I asked to speak to the general manager he gave me a song and dance about how they couldn't help me. My wife and I persisted and he said the owner of Alexander GMC would call me. What I got was a call from the general manager La'mel who pretended to be the owner. He told me he couldn't do anything to help. Then when I told him I was scared to have my kids in that car he told me a story of how he had a car problem once, as if that was going to make things right. Also, when I asked about what interest I was going to pay they told me "there is no interest, since it is a lease". What they didn't tell me was they were charging me interest under a different name (the name they used was "rent"). With all that said, this dealership didn't lift one finger to make right on this deal. This is the most unprofessional and disrespectful people I've ever dealt with. So save yourself the headache and DO NOT BUY OR LEASE A CAR from this place. They are not transparent whatsoever when writing lease agreements and hide extra fees. They allow their vehicles to leave the lot with major defects that are a safety hazard, and they are difficult to reach via phone and unhelpful.
We had a fantastic experience at Alexander GMC Simi Valley! Jeran was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process—knowledgeable, professional, and great at what he does. The whole team was friendly and welcoming, making everything smooth and stress-free. Huge shoutout to the big boss and the finance team—they were fantastic to work with! Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the market for a new vehicle.🚗✨ #GreatService #HighlyRecommend #AlexanderGMC
