Fredericksburg Chevrolet GMC is Is one of is one of those places that you walk into first thing you’re gonna see is a smile from somebody the Next thing you’re gonna see is a very clean shop very clean showroom offices, restrooms everybody’s nicely dressed but for this area I think they’re up there at the top with their courtesy and hospitality and the sense that you’re part of the family I mean these guys heard me out try to help me as much as possible with the financing choosing the vehicle I mean, I trusted these guys so much that I let them choose a vehicle for me and I was completely satisfied with what was picked Ethan, my sales person was not pushie at all called me and asked me if I wanted to test drive something and I went up there and we test drove two vehicles listed very well but not only listened. He paid attention to detail took that over to the financing officer, and he did a wonderful job of crunching the numbers and getting with me on the warranty and letting me know everything on the contract we went over everything. Made sure all my signatures were there made sure the banks were satisfied And, ultimately made my Christmas thank you fellas!

Very friendly and easy to work with. Made me feel like I was the most important person there.

UPDATE 7/30/23: I talked to General Manager and he told me they’ll get it fixed. Brought it in and they replaced the gearbox. I drove the truck over the weekend steering felt improved, but something felt off. I lifted the front end up and the wheel baring is completely worn out on the left side. This is a very dangerous issue and easy to spot issue, I won’t be giving them a 4th try at fixing and guessing what’s wrong with my truck. I’ll be taking the truck to a shop that I trust. I think the (certified pre owned 100+ point inspection) advertised is just a sell gimmick. Very disappointed in the dealership. I purchased a certified pre-owned from them weeks ago and has been sitting in their shop since. The truck was $60,000 and they cannot fix the dangerously loose steering, pulling to the right, & the steering wheel is crooked . The service department called and said it was driving normally and gave me invalid excuses for the issue. This is not normal I’ve driven 3/4 ton trucks my whole life. I am a local realtor in Fredericksburg and drive all over the state. I am very surprised this dealer is just dropping the ball on me! I now have to pay a diesel shop to find and fix the issue the GM dealer cannot find or address. I would highly recommend to steer clear of this dealership.

Be vigilant if you have a 3rd-party service agreement (mechanical repair insurance) and are from out-of-town. Make sure they get approval for insurance coverage of a diagnosis to determine what needs to be fixed when a cryptic error message displays and the engine light comes on.

They had vehicle that I was interested in purchasing in stock on the lot. Impressive during COVID to have this. That was a plus. Negative was I received a low ball offer.

The guy Allen was very friendly he held 2 trax vehicles to look at for us we had to drive from Austin to look at them
