lThe OKC is absolutely fantastic to deal with. The sales staff there is very personable and professional. Excellent buying experience from start to finish.
We appreciated the very helpful service from the staff. They were knowledgeable and kept the process moving smoothly. Was delighted that the entire time spent completing the purchase was just about an hour.
Bought truck using Navy Fed. I already had a loan with Navy Fed, so the bank wanted to cut CarMax a check for the balance after the trade. This was like asking CarMax to perform Sumerian mathematics. The entire transaction took hours. The day before, I could not drive my new vehicle home because they had to have the bank draft. Which made zero sense because they had at least $10,000 in equity from my trade in their possession. Then, there was an agreement to replace tires, and I was going to replace the two on my dime to make a matching set. All I wanted was to increase the tire size by one size. Completely safe and logical since I now owned the vehicle and was paying the difference. Well, this was impossible because they had to follow the “rules.” Really? This is how you treat your customers that just bought a $55,000 used truck? Most traditional dealerships are slimy, but the trade-off is excellent customer service. Then, I was out of town and busy with work and tried to schedule a service appointment to replace the tires etc. well, the service department didn’t have a record of owing me the service as a condition of the sale. I had to send an image of the signed document. This adds to the aggravation. I work in process improvement and this this location is ripe for opportunity when it comes to listening to the voice of the customer. Most of my friends have used CarMax and had great experiences. Just very disappointed with mine.
Very easy to work with. The upfront pricing makes the experience enjoyable. Unlike traditional dealerships, there are no traps buried in the fine print.
Clean, organized and friendly & attentive staff. Lots of cars to choose from and if they don’t have what you’re looking for at their location, they easily ship it in.
Clean lot. No pressure. Once I found what I wanted, purchase was fast and easy
