I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received at Mopar Express at Performance Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Columbus on Monday, September 21. I arrived when the service department opened at 7:30 a.m. and was the **first customer through the door**. I brought my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for two routine services: an oil change and tire rotation. These are basic maintenance services, and I had every reasonable expectation that being the first customer of the day would result in timely service. Instead, I waited nearly three hours. What made the experience even more frustrating was the complete lack of communication. I did not see my service advisor or receive any meaningful update regarding the status of my vehicle until after 10:15 a.m. For a customer who arrived at opening and was first in line, I find that completely unacceptable. I understand that service departments can become busy and that unexpected delays happen. However, that explanation is difficult to accept when I was literally the first customer through the door. Even if there was a legitimate reason for the delay, there is absolutely no reason I should have been left sitting for hours without an update. Customer service is not simply taking someone's keys and eventually returning their vehicle. It also means respecting the customer's time and communicating when there is a delay. Neither happened during my visit. Had someone approached me and explained that the service would take significantly longer than expected, I could have made an informed decision about whether to continue waiting or make other arrangements. Instead, I was left wondering what was happening with my vehicle for the better part of three hours. An oil change and tire rotation should not consume an entire morning—especially for the first customer of the day. I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience. I expect much better from a dealership service department, particularly one operating an express-service facility. The word **“Express”** sets a certain expectation, and there was absolutely nothing express about my experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reviews what occurred that morning, including why such routine service took nearly three hours and why no one thought it necessary to communicate with me during that time. My time is valuable, and this visit gave me the clear impression that it was not treated that way. More
