An explicit website ad stating the complete final cost of $89 for “The Works” was not honored by the check in staffer. She said the website was wrong and had been for a long time and the cost would actually $89 for “The Works” was not honored by the check in staffer. She said the website was wrong and had been for a long time and the cost would actually be $159 for my Ford Escape. My husband had just purchased The Works for his F250 with 3 additional quarts of oil and was charged $131. I complained that it was not fair to advertise a price and then jack it up by almost twice that amount. The service manager said he would honor the advertised price but when I picked up my car the price was $135 and the manager was not available - he was on break. I’m tempted to file a complaint with the VA Consumer Protection Agency for bait and switch. Additionally, I had requested that the technician swap out my old hubcaps for new ones but that work was not completed when I was advised that my car was ready. I don’t know who was responsible for that oversight but I was so annoyed that I didn’t wait for them to do that work, not knowing how long it would take. The check in staffer was rude and dismissive. I bought my car at this dealership and have had all service work done there over the past 9 years. I really can’t believe that there is absolutely no recognition of customer loyalty and that this bait and switch was considered to be just fine by the employees. More

It took over two hours for an oil change and I thought they were going to do my brakes. My receipt says they completed the 60K mile service (Oil Change) and I didn't need brakes and my tires were in 'ok' they were going to do my brakes. My receipt says they completed the 60K mile service (Oil Change) and I didn't need brakes and my tires were in 'ok' condition. The tires are new. The last time I was the dealership they said at my 60K check I would need new brakes and tires. I am now wondering if the brakes being okay was just them not wanting to take another 3 hours to change them. I can clearly hear them when I am stopping. I have never had an issue before. This is my first bad experience so I will give it another try. More
