Why We Acquired This Vehicle
Most examples of this vehicle were ordered dark inside and out, and most of them undersell what M actually built. This one was not. Dravit Grey Metallic over Sakhir Orange, with the wheels and the brake finish specified to match the intent, is the order of somebody who understood that a vehicle this uncompromising in shape has no reason to be timid about anything else.
Underneath the presentation is a genuinely serious machine. The XM pairs a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with an electric motor mounted between the engine and the gearbox for a combined 644 horsepower and 590 lb-ft, reaching 60 mph in 4.1 seconds - and it will also cover roughly thirty miles without waking the V8 at all.
