This 1968 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was sold new at Humphrey Chevrolet of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a later owner purchased the car in 1990 and kept it until they traded it in to Lewiston Auto for a C8 Corvette in 2024. The car is powered by a 427ci L36 V8 linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a Posi-traction differential, and it was refinished in silver in preparation for the sale. The 427ci L36 V8 was factory rated at 390 horsepower and is said to have been rebuilt in 1993. The Rochester QuadraJet carburetor was installed in 1995 and rebuilt in 2015, and the fuel tank was replaced in 2017.
Equipment includes removable roof panels, retractable headlights, 15 Rally-style, four-wheel disc brakes, an aftermarket radio, and a cabin heater. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at each corner, and the rotors, calipers, and pads were replaced in 2017. This C3 coupe sold with the owners manual, service records, an NCRS Shipping Data Report, a spare set of hubcaps, and a clean Wisconsin title. The car was finished at the factory in Silverstone Silver and refinished in June 2026. The windshield wipers do not work.
