The second owner was Oliver Roy Kelley and he bought it from his boss, the owner of a factory he worked for. Oliver knew the boss bought a new vehicle every year so he asked his boss for first chance on it. It was Oliver's pride and joy. Grathwol purchased it from Oliver's granddaughter who said she would go on Sunday drives in it as a little girl. Grathwol got the vehicle in running condition and sold it to the current owner in august 2001. The sale to Grathwol was conditional that the car would never be cut up and made into a hot rod. We expect the next owner to honor her wishes. This vehicle is a survivor car with natural occurring patina. Everything is original except the floor carpet. The cloth interior and door panels are in exceptionally good condition. The original engine was professionally rebuilt in 12/2001 at Griff's Machine in Sandusky approximately 6,000 miles ago. This was also the last year for the straight 8 engine in a Pontiac. The battery was replaced last summer.The radio works. The clock works intermittently. The fuel gauge does not work. The fender skirts are with the vehicle but not installed as there is some rust in that fender area.The vehicle is being sold as-is on consignment.
