I walked into Garden State Honda on a Friday morning knowing the exact vehicle I wanted to buy (Odyssey EX) and with a pre-arranged internet price quote from Amex/zag.com in hand. All that was left was knowing the exact vehicle I wanted to buy (Odyssey EX) and with a pre-arranged internet price quote from Amex/zag.com in hand. All that was left was to work out the financing and take delivery! I was directed to Jimmy DiGiorgio by the Internet salesperson. Jimmy D honored the pre-determined price without hassle and told me they had one EX model left in stock, which we could have ready in a couple of hours. I paid a deposit, we contacted my insurance for coverage and I was back out of the dealership within 45 minutes - what a breeze! I came back in the afternoon to pick up the car, working with Ben in the finance dept to seal the deal. He was great, explaining everything calmly and without pressure. Jimmy D walked me out to the lot, explained the basics of the car and special features and sent us on our way. He followed up a day or two later to check that everything was going OK with the new car, and that we were satisfied. Overall the experience was wonderful - low pressure, courteous, and knowledgeable. I'd go back there again and I intend to use them for service. More

This dealer passes a $495.00 internet charge to their customers. Reason being "you saw a car they were advertising on their website on the internet". This is just a legal way to xxxx the customer. I realize that we all use the internet for buisness, but to pass a cost such as this to the consumer is ridiculous and to be adamant and cocky about to adjusting the cost or waiving is even more ridiculous. On June 19 this year, I went to the dealership to look for a used car. We placed a deposit of $250 to start the transaction for a car. Yong Shin is a very good sale guy. We visited there at round 8 PM last Friday. I have already do a lot of research on Accord LX, so we just negotiated the price. After that, he showed us the car and answer your quesitons. We deiced to buy and sign the contract and put the deposit. the whole process is just 50 minutes. No hidden cost, no meaningless bargaining. On the next morning, I went there to pick up my car. He explained clearly every respect of the car prepare all the paperwork efficiently. During the coversion, I am a little bit nervous since I hear a lot of stories that the sales guy will play tricks after you sign the contract. Finally I realize that everying here is very smooth, I don't need to worry about those tricks. I drive out my lovely car after around 1 hour. Actually I got a little bit better price from another dealer, but the ratings the comments on this website make me decide to deal with garden state honda. This is a very pleasant expereince for me. The dealership was nice and friendly. Once my mind was made up about the car it did take some time. I was there for about 4hrs. We went to a Honda dealership in clifton that we'd planned to visit. The experience there was completely different. We walk in and was greeted right away. We expressed we would like to test drive the planned to visit. The experience there was completely different. We walk in and was greeted right away. We expressed we would like to test drive the Odyssey and the Pilot. Unlike another dealership we'd visited today, The sales person told us to wait in the dealership while he get the cars ready. It was close to 100 degree outside. He pulled up the pilot first and had the air condition running already. We expressed to him we would like to test on bumpy roads and he made a special test drive route for us. In the end we unknowingly stayed past their closing hour and did not hear a word of it from the finance manager nor the sales person. The result, we are in the process of closing the deal with the honda dealership in a couple of days. More
