Colin Grindly took us for the test drive because Ken Lucas had to leave shortly after showing the car. Neither knew much about this mild hybrid, but we had already done our research. While purchasing the CPO 2021 GLS450, I asked Ken for a copy of the last maintenance shop record and and he said it was policy not to give such records. He said everything was on Carfax. So I asked why was an airbag just replaced. He then gave me the shop record with no mention of an airbag. Financer Harry tried rushing thru signatures, then spent a boringly long time on extended warranties, prepaid maintenance, tire protection. He failed to have our bank draft faxed with both sides, so that snarled financing for a week. Concierge Brandon was polite and showed us features of the car. However, he could not explain how the anti-theft features worked and promised to call and tell us. After a week of no callback, I phoned Brandon and told him how it works. He did help us through programming the homelink feature because the instructions in the manual were in error. We love the car - the staff was average to disappointing in their performance. More
