I purchased a 2020 Range Rover Sport from Maserati of Naperville in January 2025. It had 48,471 miles and was shipped to me in Tampa. I originally scheduled a pre-purchase inspection but their team told Naperville in January 2025. It had 48,471 miles and was shipped to me in Tampa. I originally scheduled a pre-purchase inspection but their team told me it had already been inspected by Land Rover and was in excellent condition. No issues, no need for outside inspection. Less than 1,500 miles later, at exactly 50,000 miles, I brought it in for its first service and was hit with a $6,599 repair bill: coolant bypass hose leak, oil leaks from the top engine gaskets, and worn control arms. This was the first time the car was seen by a shop since delivery. I emailed the general manager and the owner directly. I sent a detailed breakdown and repair estimate. I followed up again and gave them two full weeks to respond. No one replied. Not a single word. This dealership thanked me for trusting them and welcoming me to their "family" but the moment a serious issue came up, they completely disappeared. If you're buying a used vehicle here, especially out of state, be extremely careful. What they promise upfront does not match how they handle things after the sale. More

🚨 Buyer Beware: Deceptive Practices at Maserati of Naperville 🚨 One star is exceedingly generous. I purchased a 2019 Porsche Cayenne from Maserati of Naperville, expecting a quality vehicle based on Naperville 🚨 One star is exceedingly generous. I purchased a 2019 Porsche Cayenne from Maserati of Naperville, expecting a quality vehicle based on their assurances and the clean Carfax report. What I received was an unsafe, flood-damaged car riddled with issues. Within 24 hours of delivery, the engine light came on, and a diagnostic report revealed extensive problems, including a damaged turbocharger, persistent water damage, non-functional driver assistance systems, a bunch of other water related damage and a strong odor of mold/mildew—a clear sign of prior flooding. The car cannot pass inspection and is illegal to drive in both Maine and Illinois. Maserati of Naperville reset the engine light and all the codes just before shipping the car to me, demonstrating they knew about these issues but failed to disclose them. Despite immediate outreach and numerous attempts to find resolution, the dealership refuses to take accountability, wanted me to pay a 10% restocking fee, $1/mile driven and pay for return shipping. They finally agreed to refund my full payment but I still had to pay shipping. When they got the car back they said the won't refund my full amount because the engine light is on and it wasn't when they shipped the car. This was the reason I returned the car and they agreed to a full refund due to the engine damage. Their conduct is a blatant violation of consumer protection laws and constitutes FRAUD. 📢 I urge anyone considering buying from Maserati of Naperville to think twice. Their deceptive practices, lack of transparency, and refusal to honor basic legal obligations have caused me significant financial and emotional distress. Don’t let this happen to you. They claim first class customer service but, I assure you, I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life. This business is a sham. Please share this post with anyone you know considering buying a car from them. More
