A friend bought an Eclipse Cross here about half a year ago. I went with him back then to look at the vehicle. Now sometimes I ride with him as a passenger and ask how it is doing. He says everything is ca ago. I went with him back then to look at the vehicle. Now sometimes I ride with him as a passenger and ask how it is doing. I wanted to share what I believe to be deceptive advertising and fraudulent pricing practices by Quakertown Mitsubishi, located at 840 S. West End Blvd., Quakertown, Pennsylvania 18951. The vehicle advertising and fraudulent pricing practices by Quakertown Mitsubishi, located at 840 S. West End Blvd., Quakertown, Pennsylvania 18951. The vehicle at issue was a used 2024 Tesla Model 3 Long Range, stock number PM766855, VIN 5YJ3E1EB9RF766855, advertised on Quakertown Mitsubishi’s website at a price of $34,490. Before traveling to the dealership, I specifically called Quakertown Mitsubishi to confirm the advertised price and asked whether any additional charges would be added beyond title, tag, and ordinary dealer or document preparation fees. I was told that there would not be any such additional charges. Relying on that representation and on the price as displayed on the dealership’s website, as well as a reading of the fine print, I then drove more than an hour and a half to the dealership for the purpose of purchasing the vehicle. When I arrived at the dealership, I was informed for the first time that the advertised price allegedly reflected rebates or incentives that only certain buyers might qualify for, and that the actual price to me would be $2,700 higher. This directly contradicted both the representation made to me on the telephone and the language displayed on the dealership’s online listing. The disclaimer language shown on the listing stated as follows: “The advertised price includes all costs to be paid by a consumer, except for licensing costs, registration fees, government fees, and taxes.” The listing did not disclose that the advertised price was contingent upon qualification for rebates. It did not state that incentives had been deducted. It did not state that not all buyers would qualify for the advertised price. It did not clearly disclose any condition that would make the actual sale price higher than the price displayed, other than licensing costs, registration fees, government fees, and taxes. After this change in position, I gave the dealership an opportunity to address the issue and honor the price that had been represented both online and over the phone. Instead, the dealership was dismissive, haughty, and unwilling to correct the situation. I was effectively shown the door after having made a substantial trip in reliance on what I believe was a misleading advertisement and phone representation. I believe the dealership’s conduct was deceptive for the following reasons: The vehicle was advertised at a specific price without clearly disclosing that the price was allegedly reduced by rebates or incentives available only to certain customers. I specifically sought confirmation by telephone before traveling, and I was told there would be no additional charges beyond title, tag, and standard dealer or document preparation fees. The dealership changed the terms only after I arrived in person, after I had already invested significant time and travel based on their representations. The disclaimer language on the listing appears to state the opposite of what the dealership later claimed, because it says the advertised price includes all costs to be paid by a consumer except licensing costs, registration fees, government fees, and taxes. I don’t like noise or aggressive selling, and this felt like relief. Quiet, calm. They showed the car and stepped back. I asked for a test drive myself and it was no problem. Once is a mistake, twice is a coincidence and three times is a pattern. The number of bait and switch reviews prove this is their way of doing business. Drove 1 1/2 hours from Jersey after confirming the day is a pattern. The number of bait and switch reviews prove this is their way of doing business. Drove 1 1/2 hours from Jersey after confirming the day before I was coming. They confirmed with me several times and said they would have the car ready. Got there and was told the car sold “about an hour ago” but would I be interested in another with a worse CarFax report for only $3000 more. Con artists. Got the vibe from get go with the staff and set-up. Stay away. More

I liked that the staff actually listened instead of repeating standard phrases. When I said I wanted a family car, they immediately showed suitable models and kept the conversation relaxed. repeating standard phrases. Be careful. This dealership bates buyers with low advertised prices on carfax and other sites and then when you inquire or drive several hours to see their cars This dealership bates buyers with low advertised prices on carfax and other sites and then when you inquire or drive several hours to see their cars they provide you with the real price. They tell you you don't qualify for the price on carfax for a variety of reasons. and you should have read the find print on the dealer website advertised price. I would never purchase a vehicle from this dealership. Very outwardly operating without integrity. More
