Incompetent and unresponsive is how I'd describe MB of Gainesville. On 10/31/24 I brought my car in to have the oil changed and about an hour later, when I was driving, the check engine light suddenly cam Gainesville. On 10/31/24 I brought my car in to have the oil changed and about an hour later, when I was driving, the check engine light suddenly came on, the stop/start function no longer worked (not even the green light was on) and other engine functioned stopped working. I immediately called Zo Strickland, the service advisor, to tell him what happeded and he said he would get a loaner ready. It's been 2 days, I've made 4 calls, and sent 2 texts, but still haven't heard back. Incredibly, this hasn't been an isolated event of incompetence and unresponsivenes at MB of Gainesville because on 4/20/24, I brought my car in for service and they charged me $157 for a complimentary brake inspection (clearly stated on their invoice) which I had to fight to get back. The same happened on 2/18/24 when they charged me $195 for complimentary services (clearly stated on their invoice) that I had to fight to get refunded. I would absolutely not recommend having your car serviced at MB of Gainesville.😡 Their sales department incessantly hammers you with follow up calls if you are interested in buying a new car, but the service department? You guessed it..incompetent and unresponsive! More

I cannot say enough about this dealership and the level of trust they have earned from me. I am naturally not a trusting person when it comes to purchasing anything. I do my research and often find that I am being told things that don't match my research. Well, I am happy to say " NOT THIS TIME". Went in for service walked out in a new car! I went in for service on my car and while I was waiting I was looking at the new vehicles in the showroom and Angela came up and asked me what I was t I went in for service on my car and while I was waiting I was looking at the new vehicles in the showroom and Angela came up and asked me what I was thinking. I told her that I really like the car that was there but I was still in a lease for another 3 years. She asked if she could look it up so I said ok and she looked it up and I was eligible to change cars, so I now have a 2019 vs 2017 my payments went down by $200 per month and my insurance went down by $400 per year. Great sales person!! More

After an unpleasant experience there, I decided to stop by Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville after seeing a car that I liked on Cars.com. Bin Xu was very helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming once my partner and I arrived to the dealership. He is definitely an expert in cars as my partner and him got along really well. The team even shipped a used GLK350 from Fort Myers for me to check out, and I fell in love and I had purchased it the same day. Morgan and Bin worked with me that evening and I have satisfied so far. The service team is also great! I really enjoy the loaner program so that I always have a vehicle to get to work and home. Given my experience, I wish I could rate them more than five stars! I will always stick with Mercedes. Thank you all! More
