I was looking to buy a Honda CRV. I was working with Zach Jarm who was very helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy towards things I wasn’t interested in. In working out a deal Zach ha I was working with Zach Jarm who was very helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy towards things I wasn’t interested in. In working out a deal Zach had to get approval from his manager Mike Goars. A situation occurred that honestly made me want to walk out of the store and NEVER buy from Honda of Joliet. If it wasn’t for Zach I would have. There was some discrepancies in prices from what my father had talked to Tim about on the phone and the price we were being quoted. My dad was told something different on phone. Michael asked Zach if he showed us the sticker on the window of the car. Zach said no. He told Zach rudely and arrogantly he wasn’t doing his job and when was he going to do he going to do what he was supposed to. I was shocked at Michael’s unprofessional and arrogance. You do not belittle your employees in front of customers. Totally unprofessional. I called him out on it! And what is even worse in my book is he didn’t even apologize for his behavior. If I was dealing with Michael I would have never have bought a car from him! More

He also hooked up our phone for navigation so we could get back on the road quickly, and assisted in the return of our rental vehicle. More

Employees need to be taught better telephone etiquette. They call you without identifying themselves or who they represent (Ex: Hi John) I went to have my vehicle appraised and was given a price below Kell They call you without identifying themselves or who they represent (Ex: Hi John) I went to have my vehicle appraised and was given a price below Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds or Other Dealership. The mileage is a bit below average and the vehicle is in excellent condition. I bought the vehicle from this dealership, maintenance always done at this dealership and even bought an extended warranty from their third party provider: 96mo - 120,000 miles & expires in 2027. My vehicle is at 49,526. I was told they do not want or care for the warranty and to just get a prorated refund. They said an extended warranty does not help in selling an excellent up kept vehicle. I was also told that they have many vehicles in their lot/inventory and do not need a 2018 Honda Odyssey EX-L w/Nav&RES. I saw roughly 4 Honda Odyssey's in their lot. I've bought a total of three Odyssey's from this dealership and it is unfortunate to say that the appraisal given was a slap in the face. They can easily sell this vehicle for 33k to 36k and they offered 28k. The manager never tried to speak to me. I had to walk into the office while Zach and him played the make the customer wait game. Service department has been great, sales great but this encounter disappointing. Proper greeting and introduction with customers need improvement, straight forward and honesty (don't make the customer wait) and some explanation as to why the value given. More
