I think this is one of the finest dealers I have ever dealt with. Their sales people are experienced, professional and respond to the needs of their customer. I took my 2013 Tribeca to the shop for a p0014 trouble code which I diagnosed with my code tool. I got a call back the next day saying there were no codes that matched mine, in fact they got codes that d code which I diagnosed with my code tool. I got a call back the next day saying there were no codes that matched mine, in fact they got codes that did not match my vehicle (turbo wastegate codes). They cleared the codes and said it was fine. $90 for the diag. As soon as I drove off the lot, the light came back so I brought it back in. Immediately the technician told me I need a new cam gear $1300! I’m sorry but you can’t make that diagnosis with a Snap-On code tool without doing a bunch of other tests. I reluctantly agreed to the job thinking they’d must have seen this before. A week later, they call and say the car is done. As soon as I drive off the lot, light came back on. I bring it back and another week goes by and they call. Saying it was a bad oil control valve. No charge. But I just paid $1300 for a mis-diag, and now you replace a $100 part and maybe an hour labor on top? I asked for a refund of the difference and William refused, saying “we fixed your car”. Then I said “but you replaced a cam gear for no reason.” He said, “oh no, it needed that also”. Come on guys! I worked for an auto service retail company for 30 years and this is the oldest scam in the book. Not to mention having my car for two weeks with 2 come-backs. More
