Very poor customer service by Will the supervisor of the Service Dept. and obvious lack of training with phone operator. I brought my story and complaint to Alveron who was sent by Steve R. (Manager of Town Service Dept. and obvious lack of training with phone operator. I brought my story and complaint to Alveron who was sent by Steve R. (Manager of Town north Toyota) to talk to me. I asked to talk to Steve but without being given a reason, Alveron came to talk to me. I called 1/9 to get an appointment on 1/10 (today) at 8am. I was told there was NO difference between a walk-in and appointment except for a choice of advisor with appointments. I arrived and was checked in at service at 6:20am thinking my car battery would be tested and replaced if problematic. I waited till 7:47am and de used to ask for status. I found out then that mechanics would only get to work at 8am!!!!! Nobody told me this and my effort of arriving super early was a waste! I asked to talk to supervisor and it was Will. He said the call center was in Houston and he had told them many times about “this problem” but same thing happened and there’s NOTHING he could do. I asked if he would please check to make sure my car was on top of the lust to be looked at since I got there at 6:20. He would not move one finger to check the computer for status. He only told me WELL CARS ARE SERVICED first come first served. I asked for corporate number to complain and he said he got no number for me. I asked him who was in charge of the dealership, it took me three times to get a name STEVE RIDDICK. It took me three more times to have Will write down this name for me on a purple stickie note. Will gave me excuses after excuses about why as a customer I was not told about the 8am arrival of his mechanics. He said WELL I CANT BE CALLING THEM IN NOW! He was totally disrespectful, unprofessional, rude, he did not care what a customer like me would feel about not being told important information. My time is also valuable. I waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for nothing (6:20 to 8). I asked Alveron to make sure Steve R call me after talking to Will for his extremely unacceptable “service.” I left Alveron’s office at 10am. Until now 4:24pm, I received no call. This kind of rubbish service will bring the dealership down rapidly. If I don’t hear from Steve R or anyone else by Monday Jan 13, I will know that Town north Toyota does not value or care about their business because a supervisor could treat his customer (me) rudely and unprofessionally but the manager if the dealership Steve R would not care to reach out to me to at least apologize. Great service department! I have had several different advisors and all were great in keeping me informed.
