I had carried my truck to a local repair shop for a
simple 02 sensor repair. When I picked up the truck it had a 219Acode showing. The repair shop dismissed the code saying it “just popped up.” It cont
simple 02 sensor repair. When I picked up the truck it had a 219Acode showing. The repair shop dismissed the code saying it “just popped up.” It continued for over a year just popping up and after 3 times taking it back to the same shop without it being fixed.
I stopped by Lynn Layton since I was in town and discussed the current problem with Wes, service advisor. He agreed that it was possibly an aftermarket 02 sensor that was causing the problem.
He recommended me leaving the car with them due to me being gone for over a week. Wes called and checked up with me and explained the problem they found.
I’m pleased that I no longer have to look at a check engine light and the service performed by the service department. I appreciate Wes keeping me informed on the status and call when the work was finish.
The price for the repair and labor was within reason. Thank you very much!
