First Team has a wonderful building, clean and tidy. .. would definitely have given 5 stars except we were there for over 4.5 hours because of a switch over in computers.....this was a straightforward ca .. would definitely have given 5 stars except we were there for over 4.5 hours because of a switch over in computers.....this was a straightforward cash sale, we would rather have come back another day than go thru such a long wait while things were sorted. I have always had good feelings about my Hyundai service department. My husband and I have had five Hyundais since we moved to Vinton in 2005. Since he passed away in 2015, I have owned two Santa Fe SUVs department. My husband and I have had five Hyundais since we moved to Vinton in 2005. Since he passed away in 2015, I have owned two Santa Fe SUVs and Wayne Lewis has sold us all of them. Until this year, no extensive work was needed on our vehicles. The only complaint I have had was this last time when I was told my vehicle would be ready by Friday, May 30. It was not. That was okay but I had an important event that I needed to leave on June 4. Then “maybe Monday…..then maybe by Tuesday June 3rd. I had to beg them to have it ready because I needed to leave early on the 4th. Finally I was able to pick up my Santa Fe by 5:00 Tuesday afternoon! Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel like having owned five Hyundais since living in the area for 20 years, I would expect some consideration. But….. I love my Santa Fe!! And I love the people who work there, especially Wayne Lewis! More

Wayne Lewis was a great salesman and we trusted him through the buying process. However the dealership fell flat at the end of the purchasing process. Extended warranties were not even discussed unti through the buying process. However the dealership fell flat at the end of the purchasing process. Extended warranties were not even discussed until we sat down with the business office to sign the loan paperwork. The cost of the extended warranties needs to occur earlier in the process. Wayne was upfront about discounts, trade in value, taxes, etc. As a salesman he is not allowed to talk about extended warranties. This situation left us high and dry because we had already signed the title for the trade in. The extended warranties made sense but not knowing the cost messes up estimating what the monthly payment will be on the vehicle. I had to increase my down-payment by thousands to get the monthly payment to a reasonable amount. Be upfront about the cost of extended warranties earlier in the process. The surprise costs at the end of the process colored the overall experice towards the negative. More
